Major League Baseball is returning from the All-Star break Thursday, giving Michigan sports bettors a chance to bet $10 and get $200 in free bets with a new BetMGM bonus code.

The promotion is simple, new BetMGM Sportsbook customers can bet $10 on any MLB game, and regardless of the outcome, their account will be credited $200 in free bets.

If you win the bet, you get those winnings along with the $200 in free bets. If you lose, you’ll have to settle for the $200 in free bets. Those will show up in your account in the form of four $50 bets.

To be eligible, click “Play Now” then register your new BetMGM Michigan account. Make a deposit into your account and place a pregame, moneyline wager of at least $10 on any MLB game.

Free bets will be credited to your account within 24 hours, and must be used within seven days. They cannot be cashed out, and the free bet amount is not included in any winnings.

Detroit Tigers a betting favorite and underdog on Thursday

The Detroit Tigers are playing two of the six MLB games on Thursday’s schedule, as they visit the Oakland Athletics for a doubleheader.

Detroit is the favorite in the first game, but will enter the nightcap as an underdog. BetMGM lists the Tigers at -150 for the 3:37 p.m. game, and +135 for the 7:05 p.m. game.

Tarik Skubal is the scheduled start for Detroit in the opener, and he will square off against Zach Logue. Garrett Hill takes the mound for the Tigers in the nightcap, with Oakland starting Frankie Montas.

If you want to stay away from two of the worst teams in the majors, the New York Yankees and Houston Astros are also playing a doubleheader (1:10 p.m. and 6:40 p.m.), with the Astros listed as slight -115 favorites in both games.

The Texas Rangers (-105) travel to Miami to play the Marlins (-115) at 1:10 p.m., while the San Francisco Giants (+120) play the Los Angeles Dodgers (-145) at 10:09 p.m. in L.A.
