Detroit Tigers a betting favorite and underdog on Thursday

The Detroit Tigers are playing two of the six MLB games on Thursday’s schedule, as they visit the Oakland Athletics for a doubleheader.

Detroit is the favorite in the first game, but will enter the nightcap as an underdog. BetMGM lists the Tigers at -150 for the 3:37 p.m. game, and +135 for the 7:05 p.m. game.

Tarik Skubal is the scheduled start for Detroit in the opener, and he will square off against Zach Logue. Garrett Hill takes the mound for the Tigers in the nightcap, with Oakland starting Frankie Montas.

If you want to stay away from two of the worst teams in the majors, the New York Yankees and Houston Astros are also playing a doubleheader (1:10 p.m. and 6:40 p.m.), with the Astros listed as slight -115 favorites in both games.

The Texas Rangers (-105) travel to Miami to play the Marlins (-115) at 1:10 p.m., while the San Francisco Giants (+120) play the Los Angeles Dodgers (-145) at 10:09 p.m. in L.A.
