BetMGM Michigan Casino has reached quite the milestone in less than two years of operation.
The December 2022 revenue release from the Michigan Gaming Control Board showed the leading online casino in Michigan crossed the $1 billion mark in lifetime revenue.

BetMGM Michigan Casino reaches $1 billion in revenue
Through 24 months of reporting, BetMGM Michigan has brought in $1,006,111,563 in gross iGaming receipts. And that’s really 23 months and some change, as January 2021 had just 10 days of legal online gambling.
It’s more than one-third of the total revenue for Michigan online casinos, which have brought in $2.7 billion through two years.
BetMGM Michigan’s two-year number also easily makes it the nation’s most successful operator in its opening two years. Pennsylvania’s entire industry brought in $1.37 billion in its first 24 months, which is second to Michigan.
While Pennsylvania and New Jersey have grown since their launches are now the top two online casino markets in the country, neither have a single operator that has reported numbers on par with BetMGM Michigan.
Both of those states breakdown revenue by licensee, not individual operator. But when BetMGM Michigan brought in $52.3 million in a record-setting October, it was clear it was the national leader. It has since surpassed that number in November and December.
Why is BetMGM Michigan’s most successful online casino?
BetMGM Michigan has the largest selection of games in the state, and has been known to pay out the biggest jackpots, as well.
That’s the simplest explanation for why it is so popular among Michigan online casino customers.
BetMGM lists more than 1,800 online slots, including nearly 100 with progressive jackpots. Among them are popular BetMGM exclusive titles such as MGM Grand Millions.
There are also more than 100 table games to choose from, and an exclusive live dealer studio that features 10 games.

BetMGM announced Monday that it paid out more than $100 million in jackpots in 2022.
While that’s a national figure, Michigan players won the most, with $38.3 million of the $104.4 million.
Three of the top five jackpots were won in Michigan: $2.5 million Bison Fury, $2.3 million on MGM Grand Millions, $2.1 million on MGM Grand Millions.
