Caesars Sportsbook & Casino continues to add to its growing list of partners.
On Tuesday, Caesars announced it had agreed to partnering with the PGA of Michigan for 2022.
The sponsorship will cover five different events on the golf schedule this year.
Here’s a bit more on this new deal.
What the deal includes
This deal between Caesars and PGA of Michigan makes them the presenting sponsor of the following five tournaments:
- Club Car Spring Scramble at The Wyndgate Country Club in Rochester Hills on April 25.
- Hall Financial Michigan Open Championship at The Bear course at Grand Traverse Resort and Spa from June 13-16.
- Midwest Golf & Turf Pro-Am at The Fortress in Frankenmuth on July 18.
- Boyne Tournament of Champions at Boyne Mountain in Boyne Falls on July 22-23.
- Fall Pro Scratch on Oct. 3 at Western Golf & Country Club in Redford Township.
“Caesars aims to enhance the player and fan experience through this partnership,” Justin Phillips, tournament director for the Michigan Section PGA, said. “They want to engage, educate and reward the PGA of Michigan community, and build relationships at a grassroots level with the Michigan golf community through special promotions and activations with member courses throughout the state.”
The partnership includes unique experiences for members of the Caesars Rewards program. Caesars will also have an on-site presence to enhance the player and spectator experience at these five events.
“Partnering with the PGA of Michigan is a great opportunity for Caesars Sportsbook & Casino,” said Eric Hession, Co-President of Caesars Digital. “Michigan has always had great sports fans and becoming the presenting sponsor of key PGA tournaments in the state this season enhances our ability to connect with new customers and to reward our existing loyal customer base.”
MI PGA latest splash for Caesars
Caesars Michigan has been catching headlines in recent months.
Back in January, it announced an exclusive partnership with Michigan State University to become the sports betting and iGaming partner of MSU athletics.
Last week, Casears launched WSOP Michigan to become the third online poker option for the state.
The Caesars-backed product is a big step for in-state poker players as they seek to take part in interstate play.
