In mid-August, Caesars Palace Casino launched online in Michigan.
Upgrading from the online casino option it offered as part of Caesars Sportsbook, Caesars Palace Casino Michigan was its own standalone application.
September marked the first full month that the new Michigan online casino was in operation. Did it make a bigger splash in the state?
Caesars Palace Casino up 28% over September 2022
There were some positives to take away from the September online casino revenue report for Caesars.
It recorded $7.2 million in revenue with its online casino offerings. That total comes from both the Caesars Palace Casino MI and the Caesars Casino that still operates as part of Caesars Sportsbook Michigan.
The monthly revenue in September was the second-highest total Caesars has had in 2023. April 2023 produced $8.7 million in revenue.
While it wasn’t a new record, it still should provide a lot of encouragement for Caesars.
The $7.2 million is a 28.8% increase in online casino revenue compared to what Caesars did in September 2022.
The growth in September matches up with what Caesars has been doing with its online casino revenue in 2023.
Through nine months it has recorded $62.8 million in revenue. That is 27.1% greater than the $49.4 million it had through nine months of 2022.
