Caesars Entertainment has struck a new partnership with the Detroit Lions on Wednesday that makes them the team’s official sports betting and iGaming partner.
To that end, Michigan online casino players will find special, Lions-themed blackjack tables at Caesars Palace Online Casino.
The Lions have made a heavy investment with gaming operators, as well as putting emphasis on responsible gaming, which will be displayed throughout Ford Field.
Caesars becomes the Lions’ next operator partnership
The Lions and Caesars teaming up gives fans the opportunity to win rewards through wagering on Caesars Sportsbook Michigan or the iGaming app.
In addition, perhaps the most notable feature of the partnership, is new Detroit Lions blackjack tables, which will be available in the live dealer lobby of Caesars Palace Online Casino MI. The table replicates the yard-markers of a football, which featuring a Lions logo.
The new tables are expected to go live “at the start of the 2024-25 NFL season,” according to a press release.
“We’re thrilled to partner with the Detroit Lions to bring opportunities to their fans that cater to their interests and are unique to the royal experience only Caesars can deliver,” Eric Hession, President of Caesars Digital, said in a statement.
“We’ve enjoyed a great relationship with sports fans in Michigan, and partnering with one of the most passionate fan bases in the NFL will help us grow that connection as we continue to expand our offerings in the state with the launch of Horseshoe Online Casino later this year.”
Caesars branding, which includes sports betting and iGaming, is going to be visible throughout Ford Field. Caesars’ newest brand, Horseshoe Casino Michigan – which is expected to launch this month – will also be displayed.
Lions pledge to RG messaging as excitement rises for 2024 season
The Lions won the NFC North last year for the first time in 30 years, and made it all the way to the conference championship game. As the season starts in a matter of days, the excitement across Michigan is palpable. The partnership with Caesars helping capture the enthusiasm.

Lions fans are expected to pack Ford Field this year and bring the noise for opposing teams. Not only will those fans see Caesars brandings, they’ll also see responsible gambling messaging through a partnership with BetMGM.
While partnering with different gaming operators, the Lions, as well as the operators, have made it a point to emphasize responsible gambling in Michigan.
