Week 10 of the college football season is a big one.

When it comes to the expert picks, they are in a need of a bounce-back effort after a lackluster Week 9.

Just one of our six featured prognosticators managed a winning record last week.

With College Football Playoff implications impacting many games this week, will our pickers dare take on the featured matchups?

Here’s a look at the selections with their odds from Michigan sportsbooks.

ESPN’s SVP, Stanford Steve & The Bear college football picks

Normally a strong trio, the ESPN group of Scott Van Pelt, Stanford Steve and The Bear collectively struggled last week.

The Bear put up a solid 4-2, but Stanford Steve was just 1-2 and SVP was 4-6-1.

Van Pelt is putting up a big card this week that includes Rutgers covering a big spread against Michigan, while The Bear and Stanford Steve are keeping things to a modest three picks.

SVP (4-6)

  • Missouri +1 vs. Kentucky (Loss)
  • Virginia +7 vs. North Carolina (Win)
  • Old Dominion +3 vs. Marshall (Loss)
  • Georgia State +2 at Southern Miss (Win)
  • Indiana +14 vs. Penn State (Loss)
  • Georgia -8 vs. Tennessee (Win)
  • Vanderbilt +7 vs. South Carolina (Loss)
  • Rutgers +26 vs. Michigan (Loss)
  • Notre Dame +3.5 vs. Clemson (Win)

The Bear (3-0)

  • Pittsburgh -3.5 vs. Syracuse (Win)

Stanford Steve (3-0)

  • Florida State -7.5 at Miami (Win)
  • Baylor +3.5 at Oklahoma (Win)
  • UTSA even at UAB (Win)

Barstool college football expert picks

Dave Portnoy is trending in the wrong direction.

Week 7 saw the Barstool Sports founder put up a big winning week. That was followed up with a 8-9 record in Week 8, and then a 9-12 record last week.

Portnoy is just barely over .500 on the season with an 84-82-3 record.

Collectively, Portnoy, Big Cat and Rico all missed their “Lock of the Week” in Week 9, so be warned for this week’s predictions.

Portnoy (10-8)

  • Washington -3.5 vs. Oregon State (Loss)
  • Wisconsin -4.5 vs. Maryland (Win)
  • Iowa +4 at Purdue (Win)
  • Kentucky -2 at Missouri (Win)
  • Tennessee +8 at Georgia (Loss)
  • Tennessee vs. Georgia Over 66 (Loss)
  • Stanford +5.5 vs. Washington State (Loss)
  • Illinois -16 vs. Michigan State (Loss)
  • Liberty vs. Arkansas Over 63 (Loss)
  • Texas -2.5 at Kansas State (Win)
  • Texas vs. Kansas State Over 54.5 (Win)
  • LSU +13 vs. Alabama (Win)
  • Alabama vs. LSU Over 56.5 (Win)
  • Notre Dame +4 vs. Clemson (Win)
  • Arizona vs. Utah Over 67 (Loss)
  • Michigan -26 at Rutgers (Win)
  • N.C. State +5.5 vs. Wake Forest (Win)
  • USC -21.5 vs. California (Lock of the Week) (Loss)

Big Cat’s Lock of the Week

  • Texas Tech vs. TCU Over 69 (Loss)

Rico’s Lock of the Week

  • Clemson -4 at Notre Dame (Loss)

Cash The Ticket Picks

The good news for Mike Valenti and Jim Costa is they didn’t having a losing record last week.

Bad news is, they didn’t have a winning record either.

Valenti was 4-4 while Costa was 5-5. The Cash The Ticket Podcast duo haven’t been stellar, but have been pretty steady in recent weeks.

The only sure thing with these two has been the “Costa Lock” not winning.

The “Costa Lock” continued to be a strong fade option last week, as it is now 0-3 after Michigan failed to cover by just ½ a point.

This week Costa is putting his lock on the biggest game of the weekend.

Valenti (3-2)

  • Georgia -8.5 vs. Tennessee (Win)
  • Missouri +2.5 vs. Kentucky (Loss)
  • Kansas +2.5 vs. Oklahoma State (Win)
  • Minnesota -15.5 at Nebraska (Loss)
  • Texas -2.5 at Kansas State (Win)

Costa (5-3)

  • Tennessee +8.5 at Georgia (Costa Lock) (Loss)
  • LSU +12.5 vs. Alabama (Win)
  • Clemson -3.5 at Notre Dame (Loss)
  • N.C. State +4.5 vs. Wake Forest (Win)
  • Texas -2.5 at Kansas State (Win)
  • Texas Tech +9.5 at TCU (Loss)
  • Kansas +2.5 vs. Oklahoma State (Win)
  • Utah -17.5 vs. Arizona (Win)
