Week 7 College Football Expert Picks From ESPN, Barstool And Cash The Ticket

Written By Drew Ellis on October 14, 2022 - Last Updated on October 16, 2022

Week 7 of the College Football season is arguably the best slate of games for the 2022 season thus far.

That has the prognosticators looking to make a splash.

Some are still working out of a funk, while others are looking to add to impressive runs in 2022.

Michigan sports bettors may be champing at the bit for Week 7 College Football picks. Look no further.

ESPN’s SVP, Stanford Steve & The Bear

It was a pretty tame showing for the ESPN trio in Week 6.

The Bear picked just two games out of a hot streak and went 1-1, while Scott Van Pelt was 4-4.

Stanford Steve had the best week with a solid 3-1 effort to get him over .500 for the season at 13-11-1.

The Bear is still putting up top numbers on the season at 22-9-1, while SVP sits at 7 games over .500 for the season.

In Week 7, The Bear is sticking with a light load while Stanford Steve decided to up his pick total.

Barstool college football picks

It was not a good week for Barstool leader Dave Portnoy.

A 4-9-1 record in Week 6 pushed him back to 56-57-3 on the season.

Big Cat (122-125-6) is starting to make a run at the top spot, while Rico (42-50-1) sits well back in third.

We will stick with just Portnoy’s selections for now. Partly because he’s leading and partly because Big Cat picks almost every game.

Here’s the Week 7 selections.

Portnoy (10-4)

  • Michigan -7 vs. Penn State (Win)
  • Kansas +9 at Oklahoma (Loss)
  • Kansas vs. Oklahoma Over 63 (Win)

Big Cat’s Lock of the Week

Rico’s Lock of the Week

North Carolina -7 at Duke (Loss)

Cash The Ticket Picks

It was another sub-.500 week for the Cash The Ticket duo of Jim Costa and Mike Valenti in Week 6.

However, both were impacted by early line commitments due to when they record their show (Wednesday morning).

The two don’t try and hide from their struggles on their Cash The Ticket Podcast. There’s one thing you can’t deny, they put in the work on these games they pick, right or wrong.

For Week 7, the two agree on a couple of games, while Costa is back in on the Wolverines.

Valenti (3-3)

  • Utah -3 vs. USC (Loss)
  • Arizona +14.5 at Washington (Win)
  • Florida State +3.5 vs. Clemson (Loss)
