The launch of the Horseshoe Casino app in Ontario last week means Michiganites using the platform can now take their play across the border with them, including to the Caesars Casino Windsor, where they can spend their rewards points. According to Caesars, users in the Great Lakes State who have registered with Horseshoe Casino Michigan will be able to seamlessly use that same account when they travel into Ontario.
The ability to use one app for play in Detroit or elsewhere in MI, and also in Ontario is convenient. There’s no need to juggle multiple apps, or utilize multiple funding sources for different jurisdictions.
A check of sports betting apps in Michigan that are also operating in Ontario reveals that Caesars and DraftKings permits users from Michigan and Ohio to use their account in that Canadian province. However, BetMGM requires a separate funding source for when you travel into Ontario and wish to place a bet.

The Horseshoe Casino app allows users to access hundreds of online slot titles and other casino games from their mobile device or a web browser.
Earlier this year, Caesars purchased WynnBET’s license and transitioned it to its own gaming platform, rebranded as Horseshoe Casino.
