DraftKings gift card - Gift Cards An Available Option For Michigan's Top Online Gambling Operators

December means it’s the holiday season, which also means a lot of gift-giving is set to happen. Michigan online gambling operators are making sure to stay in the act. Gift cards are still a purchasing option for select Michigan online operators.

There are currently expanded options available for Michigan customers. But, is a gift card for the top Michigan online casinos and Michigan online sportsbooks worth a purchase?

Gift cards for BetMGM, DraftKings available throughout Michigan

Not many Michigan operators have gotten into the gift card act, but BetMGM and DraftKings are still going strong.

Both offer multiple different gift card options and each can be found throughout the state.

BetMGM gift cards

BetMGM Gift CardBetMGM has three different gift card purchasing options.

You can select a $25 or $50 gift card that can apply to BetMGM Casino or BetMGM Sportsbook. Each of those cards also includes a $10 deposit bonus.

A recent addition that BetMGM is offering is a $10 Parlay Boost gift card. The card value is worth $10 and includes a 15% parlay boost that you can apply with your next qualifying sports bet.

You can find BetMGM gift cards at the following stores around the state:

  • 7-Eleven
  • Admiral
  • Dollar General
  • Family Dollar
  • Kroger
  • Lowe’s
  • Meijer
  • Sheetz
  • Speedway
  • SpartanNash Stores
  • Walmart

You can use their gift card website’s location finder to find specific stores near you.

Upon purchasing your card, visit BetMGM.com and sign in to your account or create a new one if you are a first-time visitor. Go to the “Deposit” section and select “TAPPP Gift/Prepaid Card” and then follow the prompts.

DraftKings gift cards

DraftKings Gift CardDraftKings keeps it pretty simple.

They offer $25 or $50 gift cards for purchase. These cards can be used for DraftKings Casino, DraftKings Sportsbook or the DraftKings Daily Fantasy product.

DraftKings gift cards can be found at the following stores around the state:

  • 7-Eleven
  • Circle K
  • CVS
  • Dollar General
  • Pilot/Flying J
  • Sheetz
  • Speedway
  • Walmart

Similar to BetMGM, following the purchase of your DraftKings gift card, go to DraftKings.com to log in to your account or create one.

Visit the “Deposit” page and select the DraftKings Gift Card option. Enter your scratched-off code to redeem your funds and begin using them.

Game On gift cards cover four MI online operators

Another gift card option for Michigan online gambling is Game On.

Game on cards are multi-brand sports betting payment cards that can be used on four different operators in the state. Those four are:

  • BetMGM
  • BetRivers
  • DraftKings
  • FanDuel

You can purchase a Game On card at a retail location or online via their website.

Up to $400 can be applied to a Game On card that you can then deposit into an account at one of the four Michigan online operators.

Why gambling gift cards can be a good option

Some may look at gift cards for online gambling as a questionable situation.

However, gift cards can provide a good responsible gambling option for players.

While each Michigan online operator has its own online Responsible Gambling settings that one can apply, a gift card sets a predetermined limit that can’t be altered.

However, if one is unsure about how to properly use the RG software, gift cards can supply a good alternative to spending limits.

Once the funds are gone, you can’t tap into the card for more.

BetMGM has introduced its newest card, the $10 option that includes a parlay boost. As some operators continue to offer fewer promotions and boosts than in previous years, this simple gift card can provide a little extra.

Parlays have proven to be a popular option for Michigan sports bettors. Don’t be surprised if DraftKings or other operators get in the habit of offering boosts through gift card purchases.
