Light & Wonder is expanding its partnership with Warner Bros.
Already producing top retail casino slot games under the Warner Bros. Discovery Global Themed Entertainment brand, Light & Wonder will now begin creating new online slot games under the expanded partnership.
The two agreed to a multi-year deal earlier this month, which means Michigan online casino players can expect some exciting Warner Bros. titles arriving in the near future.
Willy Wonka slot coming soon from Light & Wonder
This new online agreement allows Light & Wonder to tap in Warner Bros. copyrighted brands to create online slot games.
Light & Wonder already has plans to release Willy Wonka: World of Wonka. This will be the first slot to come from the partnership and will be based on 1971’s, “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.”
“The Warner Bros. Discovery brand portfolio is legendary, and our partnership has led to the creation of some of the world’s most popular casino content, including Willy Wonka: World of Wonka,” said Light & Wonder iGaming CEO Dylan Slaney in a press release. “To bring this title online for the first time is incredibly exciting and we can’t wait to deliver for our operator partners and their players. This is a huge step forward in terms of presenting our omni-channel vision to the world, as we continue to develop the most entertaining branded content available anywhere on the market.”
Light & Wonder also plans to release The Wizard of Oz: Road To Emerald City in 2024.
You can find Light & Wonder titles at all major Michigan online casinos. This will only continue to strengthen its presence as one of the top gaming providers in the state.
10 Warner Bros. slot games we’d like to see
This partnership between Warner Bros. and Light & Wonder really opens the door to a wide variety of potential slot titles.
Included under the Warner Bros. umbrella are major companies like DC Studios, NBC Universal, New Line Cinema, CNN, Cartoon Network, HBO, CW and more.
I can only hope Light & Wonder will really do a deep dive and give us some of the following titles:
- Justice League: All your favorite DC superheroes in a lackluster online slot presentation.
- Zack Snyder’s Justice League: The same game as Justice League, but each spin takes twice as long.
- The Situation Room With Wolf Blitzer: Just imagine a slot game where Wolf Blitzer blandly reads breaking news.
- Tiny Tunes: Anyone in my generation knows Tiny Tunes was better than Looney Tunes.
- The Princess Bride: Any game that might include Andre The Giant is a win.
- FBoy Island: I haven’t worked out the details, but you know people will play it.
- Johnny Bravo: The one-man army would fit perfectly as a slot game.
- Friday the 13th: The bonus round will be attempting to kill Jason Voorhees once and for all. If you can, you deserve the jackpot.
- Rotten Tomatoes: The film critic website will have you vying to be certified fresh with cash.
- Police Academy: Bonus round is target practice with Tackleberry and all sounds from the game are voiced by Michael Winslow.
