Little River Casino will be closing its gaming floor Wednesday, May 17, through 3 p.m. on Thursday, May 18, to complete rooftop HVAC replacements.

This is the maintenance that was originally scheduled for early April at the Manistee casino, according to its website. Two large HVAC units on the roof will be replaced, “for the continued comfort of our guests.”

Not only will the gaming floor be closed during that timeframe, but the River Rock Sportsbook & Grill will also be closed. Rapids Bistro will be open, however, as will the hotel. Guests are asked to call 888-568-2264 if they have any questions.

Improving air filtration and ventilation in high-occupancy buildings became a priority nearly everywhere during the pandemic.

It’s also been emphasized as some Michigan casinos re-introduce smoking sections to their gaming floors. Little River does have designated smoking sections.

BetRivers is online casino and sportsbook partner for Little River

While Little Rivers won’t be taking any action in its physical casino during that timeframe, it does have an online partner: BetRivers.

BetRivers Casino MI and BetRivers Sportsbook MI have their licenses through the Little River Band of Ottawa Indians. The brand is among the most successful Michigan online casinos and Michigan online sportsbooks.

The Rush Street Interactive product is fourth all-time in Michigan online casino revenue, and in the middle of a record run. BetRivers Casino has brought in at least $8 million in revenue in each of the past seven months.

BetRivers Sportsbook is seventh in all-time sports betting handle among Michigan sportsbooks. More than $143 million in sports bets has been placed through the site.
