Same Old Lions? Stupid Lions? (Insert something very colorful) Lions? Yes, all of those. Majestic Lions, however, is a foreign concept.
Unless, that is, you’re a classic slot machine fan. The in-house game that has lived at MGM properties for more than two decades is now available for Michigan online casino players through BetMGM Casino Michigan.

Majestic Lions is a traditional slot game with three reels and a single pay line. It features retro sounds and graphics that nearly make you feel as though you just pulled a lever.
It also features a progressive jackpot capable of reaching $2.5 million.
The online version of the game was built by Entain, and is exclusive to BetMGM. It is currently only available in Michigan, but will be available to players in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and West Virginia later this year.

As someone who, at best, would be considered a slot machine novice, I decided to take Majestic Lions for a test run.
Folks, I loved it.
I will start by saying that I had to wager real money to play it, as I couldn’t find a demo online or on the app. So, I guess this was less of a test run and more a regular run.
But I didn’t just love it because I came away with $12 more than I started with. I loved it because of how simple it was to recognize what was happening.
The single payline is obviously easy to understand, as is the simplicity of icons spinning through the three reels. But on top of that, the payout structure is explained on the top of the screen.
I can understand why people enjoy playing games with fun graphics and hundreds of ways to win. If you play a lot of slots and know what you’re looking for, I’m sure that’s a blast.
But for me, the classic slot machine is where it’s at.

And it’s not like Majestic Lions doesn’t offer multiple ways to win. The first pull that paid out for me was a blank pay line.
You can play up to three “coins” at a time, and bet anywhere from $1 to $10 per coin. Playing three coins triples your stakes, but it gives you a chance at the progressive jackpot and other larger prizes.
