New live dealer casino table games are available now from a studio in Michigan. The games will be provided by a company making its North American debut.

The Michigan Gaming Control Board has authorized Authentic Gaming to produce live stream real-time casino table games featuring live dealers located in the Great Lakes State.

Authentic Gaming is an international gaming conglomerate. It began offering live dealer games on Oct. 5, according to the MGCB, which granted a license to the company. It’s the third company permitted to produce live-dealer casino games in the state.

Livestream real-time casino table games presented by Authentic Gaming with live dealers will emanate from a Farmington Hills studio with top-level production quality. The product will be offered via a partnership with the Keweenaw Bay Indian Community and online operator Golden Nugget Michigan casino. You’ll also be able to find the Authentic Gaming live-dealer broadcasts on the BetRivers casino Michigan app via Little River Band of Ottawa Indians and Rush Street Interactive.

Players on the Golden Nugget and BetRivers casino platforms can now participate in live dealer baccarat, blackjack, and roulette.

Live dealer casino table games explained

Michigan online casinos are popular, and the state is one of only a few where they are legal.

But, with most online casino “table” games, the action comes from computer-generated and generated algorithms that simulate what a table game in real-life might be like. With live-dealer table games, real people are dealing the hands or handling the casino table game in a real environment.

Companies like Authentic Gaming set up studios that have real casino table games with real dealers on camera.

Using live-streaming technology and the Internet, games are broadcast. Players can participate either via a website or mobile device on a casino app. Customers actually participate in a live casino game. It is as if they were standing in a brick-and-mortar casino. The only thing missing is a strong drink and the smell of the aftershave on the guy sitting at the table next to you.

Why do consumers like live dealer casino games? It starts with fairness. When you’re seeing a person deal a game with cards or handle a roulette wheel, etc., there is an authenticity. That is important to players seeking credibility in their gaming.

Among the seven states that currently have legal online casinos, Michigan is one of a handful to offer live-dealer games. The state has been committed to fairness, but also believes the experience of playing a live game cannot be matched.

“Live dealer online casino table games offer an immersive and engaging gambling experience that combines the convenience of online gaming with the authenticity of the environment in a land-based casino,” said Henry Williams, MGCB executive director. “Players can enjoy the excitement of playing their favorite casino games with real dealers in real-time, all from the comfort of their home or wherever they may be.”

Two other companies, Playtech and Evolution, also offer live-dealer casino table games to customers in Michigan.
