The Michigan Wolverines just keep trucking along in the 2022 College Football season.

In Week 5, U-M went on the road for the first time and picked up a 27-14 win at Iowa.

Michigan will hit the road again in Week 6, taking on an Indiana team that has lost back-to-back games.

Oddsmakers have boosted the Wolverines back to favorite of over 20 points. Will Michigan’s sports bettors be willing to stick by U-M?

What can bettors expect from Michigan football in Week 6?

Michigan has been holding steady at No. 4 in both of the College Football Rankings.

After a very easy non-conference schedule, the Wolverines have done what they needed to do to win in two Big Ten Conference games.

Against Maryland, the U-M defense gave up nearly 400 yards to the Terps. Against Iowa, the Michigan offense had just 327 yards of offense.

In both contests, Michigan’s offense has had to rely heavily on Blake Corum. The junior running back has rushed for 376 yards and three touchdowns in the last two weeks.

In Week 6, Corum faces an Indiana rush defense that ranks 73rd in the nation (145.6 ypg). Corum is fourth in the nation in rushing this season with 611 yards. His 10 rushing touchdowns lead the country. Corum currently sees his Heisman Trophy odds at +1800 from DraftKings Sportsbook MI.

Saturday should give J.J. McCarthy a chance to showcase what he can do. While McCarthy hasn’t been bad, he hasn’t been meeting the buzz he had when named the starter.

McCarthy is 36 of 50 passing for 375 yards and three touchdowns over the two B1G contests this season. The sophomore will look to dice up an Indiana pass defense that is 118th in the nation (277.8 ypg).

Michigan’s defense remains the foundation of the team, giving up just 11.6 points and 252 yards per game. Both rank sixth nationally.

Michigan College Football Prop Odds

Corum is expected to have another big game this week. DraftKings Sportsbook MI is listing him with an over/under of 102.5 rushing yards. The over is carrying a moneyline of -130.

The oddsmakers feel strongly about another Corum TD run today, listing him at -270 to go over 0.5 rushing touchdowns.

For those looking for McCarthy to have a breakout performance, oddsmakers are listing him with an over/under of 220.5 passing yards. However, his over/under for passing touchdowns is 1.5.
