With mask mandates falling away, Michigan tribal casinos are looking for a bounce-back summer. That starts with Memorial Day weekend, the state’s traditional start to the season.
To welcome back old customers and incentivize the regulars to stop in, casinos across the state are offering promotions for the holiday weekend. Here are some of the best Memorial Day weekend offers from Michigan casinos.
FireKeepers Casino
On Saturday, FireKeepers Casino in Battle Creek is giving away a pontoon at 10 p.m. Drawings throughout the day start at 2 p.m. and include $10,000 in Red Hot Credit giveaways and two Yamaha wave runners.
On Memorial Day, Patriot cardholders can receive $10 in Red Hot Credits and a free entree from one of the restaurants. The promotion runs from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m.
Four Winds Casinos
On Sunday, hourly drawings will be held between noon and 10 p.m. at all Four Winds Casino locations, including in Michigan at Dowagiac, Hartford, and New Buffalo.
At noon, 2 p.m., 5 p.m., and 7 p.m., four players will each win $2,000 in instant credit or bonus slot play. At 1 p.m., 4 p.m., 6 p.m., and 8. p.m., two W-Club Players Club members will each win $2,000. A grand prize Ford Mustang Mach-E winner will be selected at 3 p.m. and 9 p.m.
Then, at 10 p.m., one guest will win $5,000.

Gun Lake Casino is hosting a trio of promotions this weekend in Wayland. From 5-10 p.m. on Thursday, earn 100 in Rewards Points and stop by the West Rewards Center to get a Gun Lake Casino T-shirt.
Then, on Sunday, players can win a share of $15,000 or a trip to Las Vegas plus $5,000 cash in hourly drawings from 1 p.m. until 4.
On Memorial Day Monday, players can swipe at any promotional kiosk from 3 a.m. until 11:59 p.m. for a chance to win up to $10,000 cash, up to $500 in bonus slot play, an Appliques gift offer, up to $500 in bonus table bets, bonus drawing entries, dining vouchers or Rewards Point multipliers.
Island Resort Casino
Island Resort Casino in Harris of the Upper Peninsula is doing random $100 hot seat drawings and a poker tournament on Saturday.
The poker tournament is at noon with a 64-player limit and a $60 buy-in. The house is adding $500 to the prize pool. There also is a Hardy country music concert on Friday and Saturday, and a Memorial Day golf outing at Sage Run on Saturday and Sunday.
Leelanau Sands Casino
Leelanau Sands Casino in Peshawbestown on the Leelanau Peninsula is celebrating 30 years as “the luckiest place in Leelanau” with $30 e-credit drawings on Friday and Saturday nights from 6 p.m. until 10.
Also, 30 Leelanau Sands Casino players will win $300 cash apiece from 2 p.m. until 6 on Sunday.
Little River Casino
On Friday, the Table Game Hot Seats promotion will give a $100 bonus bet to lucky random active table games players at Little River Casino in Manistee.
Swipe your Players Card to be eligible and play table games from 2 p.m. until 11:59. Bonus bets expire in seven days.
On Saturday, the Spring Ka-Ching Giveaway returns. A share of $79,500 will be distributed. Entries have been earned throughout May with slot and table games play. The Turtle Creek 500 is coming to Williamsburg.
There, magician Ben Whiting is leading the Prize Patrol, which will give away a total of $45,000 in cash to 90 lucky Turtle Creek Casino players.
The $500 winners are selected at random, you just have to be playing your favorite game from 5 p.m. until 10 on Friday and Saturday or from 1 p.m. to 6 on Sunday. Meanwhile, Bourbons 72 is offering a three-course prime rib dinner special for $35 or $65 per couple.
