Soaring Eagle has finally found its sports betting and internet gaming partner.
The Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe announced on Monday that its teaming with GAN for its online sports betting and online casino operations.
The tribe operates Soaring Eagle Casino Resort in Mount Pleasant, the state’s largest casino, as well as Saganing Eagles Landing in Standish. The tribe is the last of 15 state casino operators to announce a partnership.
According to an announcement about the deal, GAN of the United Kingdom now has four Michigan partners and nine U.S. clients.
Soaring Eagle plans to launch self-branded online products, joining a Michigan market that has raised nearly $100 million in internet gaming revenue over each of the last two months and taken more than $1 billion in online sports bets since the Jan. 22 launch.
Soaring Eagle online gambling plans
The tribe planned to launch retail sports betting in mid-January at Soaring Eagle. However, the rebranded Ascend Sports Book & Lounge has yet to open.
Satellite sports betting locations were planned for Saganing Eagles Landing and The Slot Palace and Bingo Hall, which is across the street from Soaring Eagle.
Michigan online casinos and sports betting sites launched in January with 11 total online brands. Soaring Eagle and FireKeepers in Battle Creek are the only of Michigan’s 15 casino operators that have not yet launched brands.
The brands still need approval for launch from the Michigan Gaming Control Board.
