Winning a Super Bowl bet is always a good thing. However, hitting a parlay during the Super Bowl 56 will make it a night to never forget.
Cashing in on a Super Bowl same game parlay takes some thought, as it comes with a lot of risk. The more bets you stack on, the longer the odds.
For Sunday’s game between the Los Angeles Rams and Cincinnati Bengals, sports bettors can take a focused approach at the game before creating a parlay.
This is a look at the Super Bowl from four different possible outcomes. From there, we set up a 5-leg parlay that we believe fits well with that outcome.
So, if you have confidence in how you think the game will play out, here’s a parlay for you to consider placing on your favorite sports betting app.
Rams win Super Bowl LVI in a shootout
The main focus of our outcomes is based on the winner, then the total.
In this scenario, the Rams will top the Bengals in a high-scoring showdown.
- Rams -4.5
- Over 48.5
- Cooper Kupp over 105.5 receiving yards
- Cooper Kupp anytime TD scorer
- Matthew Stafford over 279.5 passing yards
For this parlay, the best options come from BetRivers Sportsbook MI. Those are at +900. If you’re okay with a few extra yards on Stafford (281.5), you get +890 odds at FanDuel Sportsbook MI.
Why It Works: If the Rams win in a shootout, that means Stafford likely takes advantage of the 26th-ranked Bengals pass defense. Stafford has hit 280+ passing yards in 13 of 20 Rams games this season.
His favorite target, Kupp, is likely to continue his dominant showing. Kupp has hit at least 106 receiving yards in 13 games as well.
Rams win a low-scoring Super Bowl 2022
With the two offenses possessing so much firepower in the pass game, it’s easy to get lost in the potential scoring.
However, both defenses have shown they can step up and lock up opponents.
Should the Rams top the Bengals in a low-scoring game, here’s a possible play:
- Bengals +4.5
- Under 48.5
- Stafford Under 279.5 passing yards
- Rams 4+ sacks
- Joe Mixon Over 74.5 rushing yards
The sacks option isn’t available in many sportsbooks. However, BetMGM Michigan has this parlay at +1450, while DraftKings Sportsbook MI offers it up at +1200.
Why It Works: In a low-scoring game, the Bengals covering seems more likely. If you’re still strong on the Rams and the under, you can switch out the spread without losing much, if any, value on the parlay.
It’s hard to see Stafford putting on a lot of big passing drives if the total is low.
For the Bengals, keeping the Rams off the field will likely play into their favor as well. That’s why Mixon rushing for at least 75 rushing yards could work. L.A. has a great run defense, but Mixon is capable of breaking off a big run.
The sacks also can come into play in a defensive battle. We’ve already seen Cincinnati give up nine sacks to the Tennessee Titans during the postseason. The Rams’ defensive front is certainly a handful.
Bengals win Super Bowl LVI in a shootout
We’ve seen the Bengals be able to air things out on the way to upsets throughout the season.
Should Cincinnati win a shootout with Los Angeles:
- Cincinnati moneyline
- Over 48.5
- Joe Burrow Over 276.5 passing yards
- Tee Higgins Over 69.5 receiving yards
- Cooper Kupp Over 105.5 receiving yards
This is where the odds really start to jump into your favor. FanDuel offers this at +1915. Caesars Sportsbook MI has it at +1600 with Burrow’s total at 274.5, and Higgins’ at 70.5.
Why It Works: It’s hard to imagine the Bengals winning a high-scoring game without Burrow having a big night. In the shootout, Stafford should still put up big numbers, with Kupp being the most consistent to reach 106 receiving yards.
The X-factor is Higgins. Certainly Ja’Marr Chase is the featured receiver in the Cinci offense. But, that also means he will draw a lot of attention from L.A. cornerback Jalen Ramsey. That’s not an easy matchup for Chase to win, which opens the door for Higgins to breakout. Higgins has had at least 95 receiving yards in six of his last nine games.
Bengals win a low-scoring Super Bowl 56
Like we saw in the game with Tennessee, we could see this game being a grind if the Bengals struggle to block the Rams up front.
Still, that doesn’t rule out a Cincinnati low-scoring win over Los Angeles:
- Cincinnati moneyline
- Under 48.5
- Mixon Over 62.5 rushing yards
- Burrow Under 279.5 passing yards
- Chase Under 79.5 receiving yards
Caesars gives you +1700 odds for this parlay. The only other option to consider is BetMGM. It lists the parlay at +1800, but you take Mixon over 74.5 rushing yards and Chase under 64.5 receiving yards.
Why It Works: As we have discussed, in a low-scoring game it’s easy to see Mixon having a stronger showing for the Bengals. That limits possessions throughout the game.
Chase also draws the tough matchup with Ramsey, while Burrow struggles with L.A.’s defensive pressure.
