Gun Lake Announces Trevor Hayden As VP Of Operations

Gun Lake Casino has announced the addition of Trevor Hayden to its executive team. The Wayland, MI casino has named Hayden its Vice President of Operations.

A press release said Hayden (above), “brings a wealth of experience and a track record of success to this pivotal role at a time of expansion and excitement at GLC.”

Hayden previously ran operations for two legendary Las Vegas casinos

Hayden has worked in the casino industry for 20 years in different parts of the world. He has worked in management roles for gambling companies and gaming manufacturers in Canada, Latin America and Las Vegas. For the latter, he was the Director of Operations at the Mirage and Treasure Island casinos.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. And, Hayden has completed leadership training at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.

“We are thrilled to announce the addition of Trevor Hayden to our management team here at Gun Lake Casino,” said Jose Flores, Senior Vice President and General Manager for Gun Lake Casino.

“Trevor’s wealth of experience managing large-scale operations, developing and administering substantial budgets, and leading diverse teams are a great complement to our operations.”

The press release said Hayden will oversee various departments at Gun Lake Casino. Those include: gambling, operations and facilities.

Hayden is the latest big Gun Lake move

Gun Lake has also named Ronaldo Pascual its Director of Hotel Operations. It is a new position created to prepare for Gun Lake’s Phase 5 expansion project.

The $300 million expansion will be complete in March of 2025. It will add a 252-room, 15-story hotel tower that will transform the property into a Four-Diamond hotel resort. The project includes construction of an aquadome featuring three indoor pools under a 32,000-square foot dome. The area will feature a year-round temperature of 80 degrees.

Gun Lake, owned by the Match-E-Be-Nash-She-Wish Band of Pottawatomi Indians, also recently announced a $10 million project to add a new high-limit table games room and a restaurant featuring Asian cuisine.
