The biggest live poker meetup series is coming to Detroit!
On Wednesday, March 23, popular YouTube Vloggers Andrew Neeme and Brad Owen will be hosting a meetup game at MGM Grand Detroit.
If you’re unfamiliar with the meetup game format, it is a series Andrew and Brad have pioneered in the live poker arena, where poker personalities host games at various casinos across the country, and poker players and fans alike can play cards with them.
These games usually last several hours with both Andrew and Brad rotating tables roughly every 30 minutes to try and play with as many different players as possible.
This event has been highly anticipated by many in the Michigan poker community as Andrew and Brad run two of the biggest poker vlogs on YouTube in the world.
Andrew’s channel currently has more than 175,000 subscribers and Brad’s channel has more than 588,000. They have hosted many meetup games over the years, but this will be the first event ever in Michigan.
Live poker meetups a great fan and player experience
These events are known to be a great time both on the tables and off. On the table, there have been many moments featured on their vlogs showcasing crazy action as fans will often try and take their opportunity to make one of their episodes.
Off the table, Andrew and Brad will often take time after the sessions to grab drinks and food with fellow players and fans.
A large part of the success that both Andrew and Brad have reached is due to their ability to connect with fans, and these meetup games are a clear indicator of just that.
According to the Bravo Poker app, MGM Detroit has stated the game will start at 4 p.m., and all games will be $2/$5 no-limit hold ’em.
If you’re interested in getting on the waitlist for the game, they state that they will start taking names for it the morning of the event. If you’re interested in playing the event I would recommend calling as soon as you can Wednesday morning as I would anticipate many people will be interested in playing in the event.
Neeme promoting BetMGM March Poker Mania
Coinciding with the MGM Detroit meetup game, Andrew is partnering with BetMGM Poker MI to help promote their online tournament series ‘March Poker Mania’ that is running now and and comes to a close Monday, March 27.
The series is highlighted by two main events on March 27: The $1,060 buy-in event is the bigger of the two buy-ins and has a guaranteed prize pool of $75,000. The other Main Event is the $535 buy-in Phase tournament. This tournament has a guaranteed prize pool of $100,000. If $535 is too steep of a price for your bankroll, there are multiple “Phase” events through-out the week where you can qualify for only $55.
