• Different betslip settings: We were surprised when we first started using the BetMGM Sportsbook app that when we went to make a bet, our betslip always would display “$50” when we selected a wager. When we dug into our user settings, we found that the defaults were set at $50 and to not require confirmation when placing a bet. We would rather the defaults were always set to the smallest bet amount and require confirmation when placing bets. Anything that makes it less likely for users to place a bet on accident is what we like to see.
• Toned-down home screen: When it comes to online sportsbooks, there can be a whole lot going on.
