Michigan gambling industry analysis by Dave Briggs
“Michigan has a robust and sensible gambling sector and is one of only a handful of states that has made the wise decision to legalize online casinos, sports betting and poker. Michiganders benefit significantly. By legalizing online gambling activities, Michigan is providing consumer protection from an activity citizens were widely engaged in illegally and without protection prior to regulation. Further, by regulating and taxing online gambling, that money now stays in Michigan and primarily aids in improving education and funding first responders.”
