Online casino concept. DraftKings is attempting to close in on FanDuel and BetMGM by launching 81 new online casino games in Michigan in June.

As the race between FanDuel and BetMGM heats up for the No. 1 online casino spot in Michigan, DraftKings sometimes can be overlooked in the state. But there’s no doubt DK – the third most successful platform in Michigan – is still gunning for top spot. DraftKings added 81 games to its library in June.

The majority of games DraftKings Casino Michigan added were slots, with the occasional poker and table game. It released games with several different manufacturers, including 11 each with Playtech and Play’n Go.

Playtech and Play’n Go each launch 11 new games on DraftKings

Playtech’s 11 new games on the DraftKings platform is the most of any game manufacturer, other than Play’n Go. Ten of the games feature slots, while the other is a table game.

Playtech is known for a wide variety of games, which include slots, table games, live dealer, poker and bingo. Here are Playtech’s games that are now live on DraftKings:

  • Buffalo Blitz Live
  • Sky Queen
  • Better Wilds
  • Blue Wizard
  • Fire Blaze: Jinns Moon
  • Frogs Gift
  • Legacy of the Wild 2
  • Gold Hit Dragon Bonanza
  • Wild LinX
  • Gold Pile: Toltec Treasure

Mega Fire Blaze: Roulette is the only table game Playtech and DraftKings added.

Playtech is in the process of making new slots. According to its website, the company has secured licensing agreements with major film and TV studios to create slots such as Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, Rocky and more.

Play’n Go also unveiled the same numbers of titles onto DraftKings as Playtech. Those games include:

  • Banquet of Dead
  • Fire Joker
  • Golden Ticket 2
  • Perfect Gems
  • Return of the Green Knight
  • Chambers of Ancients
  • 3 Clown Monty
  • Piranha Pays
  • Rich Wilde and the Tome of Madness
  • Cat Wilde and the Incan Quest
  • Legion Gold

Other game manufacturers to release slots via DK

There are tons of game companies that DraftKings partners with to give customers the best gaming experience possible. Evolution, which is most notable for providing live dealer games, has also dabbled into the slot world, launching the following titles:

  • Ancient Disco
  • Finn and the Candy Spin
  • Pinatas & Ponies
  • Who’s The Bride
  • East Coast Vs West Coast
  • Twin Happiness
  • Judgement Day Megaways

It most recently released the Buffalo Hunter slot last month, too.

In addition to Evolution, plenty of other prominent and well-known manufacturers provided new titles, such as:

  • International Game Technology (IGT)
  • Digital Gaming Corporation (DGC)
  • High 5
  • Everymatrix
  • Pariplay

DraftKings behind FanDuel, BetMGM in online casino pecking order

FanDuel and BetMGM have been going back in forth all year for the No. 1 iGaming position. That means, DraftKings has solidified the third spot among Michigan online casinos.

Through five months of 2024, DraftKings has been slightly decreasing in monthly revenue:

  • January: $36.3 million
  • February: $36.9 million
  • March: $40.4 million
  • April: $38.5 million
  • May: $36.9 million

DraftKings is not really close to challenging BetMGM or FanDuel for the top spot, as those operators produced $51.6 million and $51.5 million, respectively, in May iGaming revenue.

With June results to be made public next week, DraftKings will be the third platform to join the $1 billion lifetime revenue club. Perhaps the launch of these new games could help it get closer to the market leaders.
