Former Detroit pro athletes have been pairing with Michigan casinos as of late.
Former Detroit Lions receiver Herman Moore is the latest to join the fray, as he will be serving as brand ambassador for Eagle Casino & Sports.
Eagle Casino & Sports is the online casino and online sportsbook for Soaring Eagle Casino.

The agreement with Moore will have him appear on Detroit Lions-themed TV commercials throughout the 2022-23 NFL season.
“I’m excited to be a representative of this brand and for this to also be a relationship that trusts my brand,” Moore said in a release. “I love that they asked me to get involved on the creative side and to also have a voice in how I would be portrayed and integrated within the process. This is a mutually beneficial relationship that comes with a lot of history and trust.”
The TV commercials were shot at Ford Field and feature Moore on the football field wearing an all-black suit. He is promoting the new ‘Made in Michigan, Made for Michigan’ Eagle Casino & Sports app.
“It was important to me to represent not just the player I was with the Lions, but the businessman I have been for the past 20 years,” said Moore, who is also the Founder & CEO of Team 84. “To have that embraced by the Soaring Eagle team says a lot about our relationship, which has been in place for a decade.”
Eagle Casino & Sports TV commercials will air throughout the State of Michigan during the 2022-23 NFL season.
Herman Moore watch parties at Soaring Eagle
In addition to filming the TV commercials, Moore will make appearances at Ascend Sportsbook at Soaring Eagle this season.
Moore is scheduled for select watch parties for Detroit Lions away games and for Super Bowl LVVII on Feb. 12, 2023.

Moore joins Barry Sanders, John Salley as brand ambassadors
Herman Moore is just the latest former Detroit pro athlete to team up with an online casino and sportsbook.
In February of 2021, Barry Sanders announced a partnership with BetMGM Sportsbook. That partnership has recently developed into a Barry Sanders booth at the BetMGM Sports Lounge inside the MGM Grand Detroit.
The BetMGM Sports Lounge already features booths dedicated to Chris Chelios and Jalen Rose as well.
Former Detroit Piston John Salley is teaming up with the Michigan Lottery for “The Big Spin” television promotion.
Eagle Casino & Sports sees record month
Eagle Casino & Sports has been an online operator since April of this year.
The online casino continues to see growth month-over-month. In September, it did $2.9 million in revenue, its highest mark to date. That landed it 10th of the 15 operators in the state for the month.
The online sportsbook brought in $1.66 million in handle for September, which was also a record-high for the new operator. That landed it 11th among the 15 operators for the month.
