Do I need a PartyPoker Michigan bonus code?

When PartyPoker comes to Michigan, it’s hard to know exactly what the bonus structure will look like for new players, but in other states, PartyPoker doesn’t require a bonus code to unlock the bonus. The good news for Michigan players is that if (and when) PartyPoker lands, it will probably offer a bigger-than-usual sign-up bonus.

Not yet. For now, PartyPoker is only available in New Jersey.

Does PartyPoker MI share a player pool with other states?

While PartyPoker isn’t yet available in Michigan, the site can share player pools with BetMGM and Borgata in New Jersey, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. Since the rules governing the game were the same across states, the ability to link to other player pools was approved by various government agencies. How to get started at PartyPoker

Download the PartyPoker app from either the App Store or GooglePlay, or search for it on your computer.

Click the red button at the top right of the screen that says sign-up. You’re given the option to use your email to register or port over details from your PayPal account.

After that, create a password, enter your name, last four digits of your SSN, your mobile phone number (for two-step verification) and your address. Check the boxes to complete your registration including the one to get offers and promotions through email.

There are some differences between the app and the desktop PartyPoker site. The app is all poker, while other games are available on the website.

With the app, there are six boxes that take you to all the different style games and tournaments. Just tap one, and you’re shown all the different buy-ins and available seats.

On the website, you start in the PartyPoker lobby. There is a ribbon at the top of the screen with Poker, Casino, Promotions, and Help. You also see your name, your avatar (you can pick from a set of options or upload your own), the amount in your account, and a link to the cashier to make a deposit or withdrawal.

I saw well over 200 active tournaments on the weekend with different ranges, formats, and speeds. The number varies depending on the time of day. It peaks on Friday nights.

One of my favorite parts about the website and app was the ability to click on your preferences and then select from all the different options on what I want my table to look like, the type of deck, and even the color of the felt. It’s rare to find these options on Michigan poker apps. Moreover, I don’t know a poker player (myself included) without a couple of superstitions, and I love that PartyPoker lets me customize my game.

Game selection at PartyPoker MI | 4.4/5 stars

The main game type available at PartyPoker is Texas Hold’em, the game with a shared pot of community cards and your own cards, where you try to create the best hand. There’s also pot limit Omaha, where you get four cards that only you can see, and five community cards dealt face up to make your hand.

I couldn’t help but check out the iGaming page in between poker tables. PartyPoker had 68 live dealer games in the catalog, 67 table games including roulette and blackjack, 360 jackpot slots, and over 1,000 video slots.

Cash games play anytime up to six players on No Limit Hold’Em. Remember, it’s always a smart strategy to look at your bankroll and divide it by 20 to get an idea of how much to buy in. Don’t be afraid to fold quickly when you don’t have the cards, but be bold when you do.

A six-max sit will have six players. Games usually take about an hour. There are turbo-style tournaments where the blinds get big quickly.

PartyPoker also offers a fastforward tournament. Sign up in the lobby and pick how many tables (up to four) you want to jump to. As soon as you fold, you’re moved to a new table with a new hand. No waiting around for the hand to play out. This is a great way to play a lot of poker in a short time.

PartyPoker also offers qualifying tournaments that grant entry to a high-buy-in tournament as the reward. This is a situation where a small buy-in can lead to a big win. It’s the same idea behind satellite tournaments, except those are usually connected to larger land-based events.

Multi-table tournaments are grand events that start at a specific time and last for hours or even days. It’s almost like a basketball bracket where the goal is to survive at one table and advance to the next, where the stakes get bigger.

Banking at PartyPoker | 4.6/5 stars

PartyPoker gets a 4.6 rating from me for banking methods. I’m not a big fan of the $10 deposit and the inability to use a Discover or AmEx card for direct deposits.

I advise using an e-wallet platform for an extra layer of security, such as Venmo or PayPal. Apple Pay was listed as a method, but not if you have that linked to a credit card. PartyPoker stopped accepting credit cards as a form of payment in the spring of 2026.

When reviewing any online gaming site, I always look for two things when it comes to customer service.

The first is how accessible is it? Some sites hide the links to the live chat, or they have a phone number that is only available for a few hours a day.

I’m happy to report that PartyPoker hits the first requirement.

They make getting to customer service easy.

There’s a help and support button right on the homepage.

Once you click that, you’re given three options, either a live chat, a phone call (1-877-448-5831) or to send an email.
The phone service is only available from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. ET.

Emails are returned within 24-48 hours. I got an email back in four hours.

With the live chat, the automated bot is named “Chip” and it gives you a bunch of categories to choose from, whether you have a question about deposits, gaming or bonuses.

Chip is quick with his responses and did offer me a link to an operator when we reached an impasse.

I was connected to Martha within a minute and she answers my question about a deposit.

One thing I didn’t like was how I couldn’t easily find the FAQ page.  I actually asked Martha for the link to the FAQ. I found it very detailed with notes on how to play each style of game and explained how the welcome bonus worked.
