Four Winds Casino New Buffalo

Four Winds Casino New Buffalo is a tribal casino and hotel located in New Buffalo, a Lake Michigan beach town about an hour from Chicago. It is the largest of the Four Winds casinos in the state, all of which are owned and operated by the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians, a federally recognized tribe. The tribe’s other casinos include one in Hartford, MI, and another in Dowagiac, MI, and it also owns and operates a Four Winds site in South Bend, IN.

Four Winds New Buffalo features 125,000 square feet of gaming with more than 3,000 slot machines and 66 table games. Unlike some tribal casinos across the state that allow for some younger patrons, the Four Winds gaming area is only for players age 21 and up. There is also a 415-room hotel on the property, which includes five restaurants, entertainment bars, retail venues, and a pool.

The tribe first opened a retail sportsbook at the New Buffalo location in July 2020, and also has betting kiosks at the two other Michigan locations. An entirely revamped Sportsbook Lounge space opened in late August 2021. The Pokagon Band partnered with Kambi and White Hat Gaming to launch Four Winds Sportsbook and Four Winds Casino online in Michigan in 2021.
