As Michigan’s online casino industry continues to grow in revenue, the same can be said for the gaming libraries in September.
Most of the online operators in the state continue to add more and more slot gaming options for their consumers.
Currently, Michigan online casinos offer nearly 9,000 slots collectively through all operators. But, which operators are leading the way in game count?
Michigan online casinos slot count for September
As of this week, here’s a look at what each online casino in Michigan is offering for slot and jackpot games.
It should be noted that though there are just 15 online casinos in Michigan, Caesars currently has two online casinos running. One is the Caesars Casino as part of the Caesars Sportsbook MI app. The other is the newly-launched Caesars Palace Casino MI, a standalone Caesars online casino.

Three takeaways from Michigan’s September slot count
BetMGM leading the slot count
It shouldn’t be much surprise to see BetMGM Michigan leading the online slot count with 1,205 options.
BetMGM head been the lead operator when it comes to Michigan online casino revenue since the start back in January of 2021.
BetMGM also continues to pursue new exclusive deals to bring more and more games to its library. It just recently announced that popular retail slot, Buffalo, will be coming soon to its Michigan online casino.
Barstool phasing out
Barstool Casino MI isn’t long for Michigan, as PENN Entertainment announced in August that it sold off the brand back to founder Dave Portnoy.
In its place, PENN will replace Barstool with ESPN Bet and Hollywood Casino online at some point in the future.
In the meantime, Barstool Casino is still operational in Michigan, but not much effort is being put into the operation. Barstool now just offers 78 slot games and only one jackpot game.
Even as recently as July, Barstool was ranking eighth in monthly online casino revenue. One would expect Barstool to see further decline in revenue as it offers fewer and fewer games.
Ceasars stepping up efforts
Prior to the launch of Caesars Palace Casino MI, the Caesars online casino product was among the lowest in gaming offers.
As you can see from the table, the online casino that’s part of Caesars Sportsbook has just 139 slot titles. Even when it was in its prime, it offered just over 200 slot titles.
Now, the launch of Caesars Palace Casino last month has seen an expansive library of slot titles. The new operation has 536 slot games and 23 jackpot options.
It could continue to help Caesars make a push to become a top-5 online casino operation here in Michigan.
