Michigan players have a new real money slot to try, and it wants you to lie to your friends.
Fitting for a game named after a show built on voting out whoever betrayed the group.
BetMGM Casino in Michigan added The Traitors Faithful Riches this week. The spinoff swaps the celebrity cast for 22 civilians chasing a prize pot worth up to $250,000. BetMGM timed the slot to the premiere of “The Traitors: New Blood” on NBC Thursday night.
Michigan is one of four states where the game arrived this week, alongside New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. The same slot showed up a day later in Alberta and Ontario under a separate announcement aimed at BetMGM’s Canadian audience.
How the Game Actually Works
The title plays on the show’s own split. Traitors plot in secret. Faithfuls try to catch them before the prize money runs out.
The Traitors Faithful Riches runs on a 5×4 reel layout with 1,024 ways to win. Games Global built this slot under an exclusive license from All3Media International, part of Banijay Entertainment. The Traitors Bonus, bonus spins, and The Traitor Feature borrow the show’s hooks directly: secret alliances, hidden rewards, and a jackpot sized for whoever outlasts the table.
Oliver Bartlett, senior vice president of gaming at BetMGM, said:

BetMGM Already Did This Before
This is not the operator’s first trip to reality television for a slot machine.
BetMGM partnered with developer Jogo Global and Banijay Rights to cut a similar deal in March. Together, they plan to launch a run of Survivor-themed games, with a commitment to build at least 10 titles together. The Traitors deal runs through a different Banijay arm and a different developer. Still, the strategy remains the same, i.e., license a hit reality format, hand it to a studio, release the first title on premiere night.
BetMGM now holds exclusive rights to build slots, table games, and non-traditional casino games based on The Traitors. The company plans more titles across multiple casino categories and gameplay formats. Terms of the licensing agreement were not disclosed.
Michigan players can find The Traitors Faithful Riches on the BetMGM app and website. The slot is playable at real-money stakes, alongside the casino’s existing library of more than 7,000 games.
Survivor got a franchise deal in March. The Traitors got one this week.
Betrayal, it turns out, plays just as well on a reel as it does on television.
