Detroit gas station location not yet announced
The Gameday Fuel promotion will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. local time. The last eligible vehicle will be allowed to join the line at 1:30 p.m.
DraftKings has not yet disclosed the participating Detroit gas station. The company said it would announce the location separately, so anyone planning to attend should confirm the address.
Free gas will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. The event may end early if the available fuel runs out or the station reaches capacity. Receiving gas is therefore not guaranteed, even for people who arrive during the scheduled window.
DraftKings also plans to hold giveaways, contests, and interactive experiences at the Detroit event, with special guests expected to appear.

Who qualifies for a free fill-up
Eligible Michigan participants must be at least 21 and able to verify their age. No advance registration, reservation, DraftKings account, purchase, or wager is required.
Qualifying vehicles include standard passenger cars, SUVs, crossovers, personal pickup trucks, motorcycles, and mopeds. Commercial, fleet, rideshare, and delivery vehicles are excluded, along with recreational vehicles, buses, limousines, and trailers.
Each eligible vehicle can receive one complimentary fill-up. DraftKings has not set a dollar or gallon limit, but fuel must be pumped directly into the vehicle’s tank. Portable gas cans and auxiliary tanks cannot be filled.
Participants can select any available grade of gasoline appropriate for their vehicle. The offer cannot be exchanged for cash, credit, or DraftKings bonus funds.
Michigan app offers available for one day
Michigan customers will also have access to limited-time Gameday offers through the DraftKings Sports & Casino app. Promotions will span sportsbook, online casino, and prediction market products, with availability depending on location and eligibility.
Promotions can be found by selecting the Rewards icon and opening the Promos tab. Customers should check whether an offer requires them to opt in before betting or playing.
Each promotion may carry different eligibility rules, minimum wagers, qualifying games, and expiration times. Customers should review the full terms rather than assume every offer will be added to their accounts automatically.
Michigan customers do not need to attend the Detroit event to access any Gameday promotions for which they are eligible.
Gameday campaign includes $50,000 DAV donation
Along with Detroit, DraftKings will hold Gameday Fuel events in Los Angeles, Miami, Dallas, and Atlanta.
The wider Gameday celebration includes a new “Take Your Game Anywhere” advertising campaign following Kevin Hart and Nick Jonas on a cross-country road trip. The campaign is now running across television, digital, and social platforms.
DraftKings will also donate $50,000 to Disabled American Veterans (DAV) through its DraftKings SERVES program. The money will support DAV’s Transportation Network, which provides injured and disabled veterans with free transportation to Department of Veterans Affairs medical facilities and appointments.
