FanDuel Casino is giving Michigan players another way to chase big wins.

The iGaming giant announced this week it has expanded its progressive jackpot system with a new feature that lets players double their contributions, which increases odds of hitting a jackpot.

FanDuel Casino has produced the most revenue in 2025 amongst the 14 Michigan online casinos.

How the new feature works

The feature, called FanDuel Casino Jackpots, now allows users to contribute 20 cents per wager instead of the standard 10 cents. That extra dime effectively doubles a player’s chance at winning one of four progressive prizes: Mini, Minor, Major, or Mega. The update is now live in Michigan, as well as in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

James Davison, FanDuel Casino’s commercial VP, said in a statement:

“At FanDuel Casino, our goal is to deliver the ultimate winning experience. With this new feature, we’re creating even more opportunities for players to win bigger prizes and feel the thrill of progressive jackpots.”

The move comes as FanDuel continues to strengthen its iGaming footprint in Michigan, one of the country’s leading markets. The company first introduced its progressive jackpot system earlier this year, and it has already paid out more than $300 million across 450,000 jackpots, according to FanDuel.

Progressive jackpots differ from standard prizes because they grow over time with each wager placed across participating games. A portion of each bet feeds the jackpot pool until one player hits the winning combination, which can be sometimes six- or seven-figure payouts.

FanDuel said the enhanced jackpot feature builds on its acquisition of BeyondPlay, a player engagement technology firm it purchased in February 2024. The company said BeyondPlay’s platform has helped deliver “best-in-class jackpot technology” and new ways to engage casino users.

Flexibility for customers

For Michigan players, the change adds another layer of strategy. Players can continue wagering at the original 10-cent contribution or opt in for 20 cents to double their chances at the progressive pool. The higher contribution doesn’t guarantee a win, but it does increase the odds of triggering a jackpot.

FanDuel remains one of the most active operators in Michigan, competing against BetMGM Casino, DraftKings Casino, and Caesars Palace Online Casino for market share.

As operators look for new ways to attract and retain players, features like enhanced progressive jackpots could become a key differentiator.
