Hard Rock Hotstepper remained the most-played online casino game at Hard Rock Bet in Michigan during August, retaining the top position for the second consecutive month.

The latest data from Hard Rock Bet Casino Michigan also tracked how individual titles moved within the rankings and when players were most active during the month.

Hard Rock Bet determined popularity by the number of individual players who played each title, rather than wagering volume or revenue.

Hard Rock Bet combined player totals from New Jersey and Michigan for its published top-10 leaderboard and month-to-month comparisons. However, the operator said the same five games ranked in the same order when each state was examined separately.

Huff N’ Puff titles make substantial gains

Huff N’ Puff Money Mansion climbed eight positions to reach No. 6. Huff N’ Even More Puff made an even larger move, rising 20 places to No. 8.

Bankin’ Bacon Pigs Might Fly also moved into the top 10 after climbing seven positions to No. 9. Outside the leading group, Wrappin’ Gold rose from below No. 100 in July to rank within the top 20 in both Michigan and NJ during August.

Two August additions enter top 10

Games Global’s Shark Pop: Coin Collect and Playtech’s 4 Crazy Cluckers both reached the leaderboard during their first month at Hard Rock Bet. Shark Pop entered at No. 7, while 4 Crazy Cluckers debuted at No. 10.

Hard Rock Hotstepper remained No. 1, followed by Playtech’s Oink Oink Oink in second and Wolf it up Again! in third. Money Link Moon Goddess and Cash Eruption completed the top five after each climbed one position from July in the combined rankings.

The operator’s August player report listed the following top 10:

  1. Hard Rock Hotstepper
  2. Oink Oink Oink
  3. Wolf it up Again!
  4. Money Link Moon Goddess
  5. Cash Eruption
  6. Huff N’ Puff Money Mansion
  7. Shark Pop: Coin Collect
  8. Huff N’ Even More Puff
  9. Bankin’ Bacon Pigs Might Fly
  10. 4 Crazy Cluckers

Outside the top 10, Hard Rock Bet identified several games with smaller but consistent player followings. Those included 88 Fortunes, Extra Chilli and Cash Eruption High Stakes

Speed Baccarat maintained a similarly steady audience among live-dealer players, with its player count changing little from month to month.

Event-related slots cool off after July

Two games that benefited from events held during July attracted less interest in August.

Firework Fusion received a boost around the Fourth of July before cooling off as the following month progressed. The soccer-themed Huff N’ Lots of Goals followed a similar pattern after the World Cup ended.

Hard Rock Bet described those declines as examples of casino games developing seasonal patterns tied to events matching their themes.

Blackjack leads digital table-game rankings

Across Hard Rock Bet’s two Michigan online casino markets, Evolution’s Hard Rock First Person Blackjack remained the most-played digital table game in August. Playtech’s Penny Roulette ranked second and was the only non-blackjack game in the top five.

IGT Blackjack followed in third. Playtech Mobile Blackjack moved up one position to fourth, while NetEnt Blackjack slipped one place to fifth.

The live-dealer rankings changed more significantly. Evolution’s Lightning Roulette climbed three places to take the lead, replacing MONOPOLY Live, which fell from first to fifth.

Mega Fire Blaze Roulette ranked second, followed by Crazy Time and Adventures Beyond Wonderland Live

Player activity peaks after 9 p.m.

Across Hard Rock Bet’s two online casino markets, hourly activity remained relatively low during the mornings before building through the afternoons. The number of players peaked after 9 p.m. ET.

Saturday and Sunday attracted the most players during August. Thursday stood out among the weekdays.
