MGM Grand Detroit hosted an event last week involving slots influencer Brian Christopher. Little did the casino know that Christopher made history of his own during the event. While filming, Christopher hit a jackpot worth $80,000, which is his all-time high.
Christopher made a $37 bet on the Crazy Chickens slot at MGM Grand Detroit, which translated into his own personal jackpot record.
The event also included Christopher meeting fans and MGM Grand Detroit casino-goers, too. Since he is partnered with BetMGM, it’s likely not going to be the last time he appears at the Detroit casino.
Detailing Christopher’s relationship with BetMGM
This was a planned, and free, event at MGM Grand Detroit that required tickets for guests to attend. Christopher has a large following of 708,000 YouTube subscribers. His followers saw him hit the largest jackpot he’s ever won.
Despite giving away the jackpot, MGM Grand Detroit gets plenty of notoriety because of its partnership with Christopher. BetMGM and Christopher agreed to a deal in June that features the following:
- Live streams: Streams across both @BCSlots and @BCSlots2 on YouTube, as well as @BCSlots on Facebook and Kick, will showcase Brian Christopher’s signature style along with BetMGM.
- Exclusive experiences: Christopher will interact with players and offer insightful commentary across a variety of platforms including live streams, social media, slot tours, in-person meet-and-greets, virtual player events and more.
- Responsible Gaming commitment: BetMGM and Christopher believe gambling should be a fun activity and enjoyed as a form of entertainment. Christopher will highlight BetMGM’s various responsible gaming tools and resources, while continuing to drive messages about setting limits and playing within a budget.
Christopher’s experience last week featured everything the partnership calls for.
Does Christopher have any plans for MGM Grand Detroit in 2025?
Christopher does much of his streaming work at Plaza Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. According to his calendar, he does not have a trip planned for MGM Grand Detroit, as of yet.
Christopher is hosting a slot tournament on Jan. 7 and a meet-and-greet happy hour on Jan. 9 at Plaza Hotel & Casino. In addition to his slot content, he also offers cruise opportunities for people.
Christopher is going on two cruises in February. Individuals can sign up for either cruise and submit a loyalty card from a casino, including MGM Grand Detroit. Doing so could result in free or discounted cruises, drinks included and other benefits.
Christopher has built a tremendous following, that will hopefully lead to more events at MGM Grand Detroit.
