Evolution plans to introduce Ice Fishing in North America during the fourth quarter of 2026. The company had previously named it among the games planned for its Grand Rapids live dealer studio.

The timetable appears in Evolution’s third-quarter report, published Oct. 23. The report also mentions Spinning Whale, Evolution’s US-focused slots brand, which is set for a wider North American debut in November.

Neither the results report nor the Spinning Whale announcement identifies participating Michigan online casinos or provides a state-specific launch date.

Ice Fishing was part of Grand Rapids studio plans

Evolution announced the opening of its second Michigan live dealer studio in May. The announcement listed Ice Fishing and XXXtreme Lightning Roulette among the games expected to launch later in 2026.

Grand Rapids became Evolution’s second Michigan studio, following the opening of its Southfield location in 2021. The company said the second location would supply games through both Evolution and its sister brand, Ezugi.

The announced lineup included blackjack, roulette, and baccarat. Evolution also listed EZ Baccarat and Triple Zero Roulette among the table variations planned through Ezugi.

On June 18, Evolution announced that Monopoly Live was streaming from Grand Rapids to Michigan players.

Ice Fishing uses a virtual wheel and three fishing bonuses

Ice Fishing launched internationally on Aug. 6, 2025. Evolution describes the live casino game as a speed game show, with a 53-segment virtual wheel and an Arctic setting for its bonus sequences.

Leaf 1 and Leaf 2 are the wheel’s direct-payout options, with a wager winning when the wheel lands on the matching segment. Three other outcomes trigger the fishing bonuses named Lil’ Blues, Big Oranges, and Huge Reds.

An All Bonuses wager covers the segments associated with all three fishing bonuses. Players can also place wagers on individual spots or combine Leaf and bonus bets within the same round.

According to Evolution’s game guide, the bonuses have different starting multiplier ranges. Lil’ Blues ranges from 3x to 100x, Big Oranges from 4x to 200x, and Huge Reds from 10x to 500x.

After betting closes, additional multipliers of up to 10x may be assigned to wheel segments before the spin begins. A multiplier on a winning Leaf segment increases that payout. When a boosted bonus segment wins, the increase applies to every fish multiplier in the corresponding fishing bonus.

During each bonus, the live presenter reels in a fish to reveal the multiplier that determines the payout.

Spinning Whale network debut scheduled for November

Evolution announced Spinning Whale Sept. 29 as a new online slots brand focused primarily on North America.

Its first title is 888 Dragon’s Fortune Hold’n’Win, an Asian-themed slot that Evolution says draws on traditional land-based casino games for its online design.

The company scheduled a wider North American network debut for November, with additional Spinning Whale games planned for 2027.

North America outpaces companywide revenue growth

Evolution’s third-quarter net revenue was equivalent to approximately $584 million, up from about $562.9 million in the same period of 2025.

Revenue from Evolution’s North American business rose 13.6% from a year earlier, compared with the companywide increase of 3.7%.

Evolution said revenue rose from the previous quarter in every region, the first time that had happened since 2024.
