Players of a new BetMGM online casino slot game can experience an animated volcano eruption a la The Mirage Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Mirage Mega Magma debuted on all BetMGM platforms in New Jersey and Michigan this past week and will go live in Pennsylvania and West Virginia later this year.

Intended to build off MGM’s luxury brand, the game was developed by Entain’s in-house studio with MGM Resorts International and BetMGM. Entain has helped and release more than 60 table and slot games for BetMGM, which is the far-and-way market leader among Michigan online casinos.

“Mirage Mega Magma, another BetMGM title based on a world-renowned land-based property, brings more heat to our industry best gaming portfolio,” said Matthew Sunderland, BetMGM’s vice president of gaming, in a news release.

“This game leverages the best of both of our parent companies — Entain’s tech, and MGM’s branding — and we expect it to match and exceed the successes experienced by Bellagio Fountains of Fortune.”
