Bet365 is now live in Michigan, launching both its Michigan online sportsbook and iGaming platform in the state, the operator confirmed to PlayMichigan.com.
The global operator went live at 9 a.m., making its platform available to customers aged 21 and older. The debut expands bet365’s U.S. footprint to 17 states and represents another key step in its ongoing North American expansion.
Bet365 is partnered with the Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians.
bet365 officially enters Michigan market
Michigan bettors now have access to the full bet365 Sportsbook product, which includes wagering on more than 96 sports worldwide, along with competitive odds, early lines, and a strong in-play wagering experience.
The operator is also bringing its signature Early Payout feature to the state, allowing bettors to secure winnings early if their team builds a decisive lead. Trip Stoddard, Head of Business Development at bet365, told PlayMichigan via email:
“We’re excited to launch bet365 in Michigan and offer players a different kind of betting experience.
Michigan is a mature market with savvy sports fans, and bet365 will reinvigorate their passion by delivering more value through features like Early Payout, a leading in-play product, and a seamless casino integration.”
As part of its launch, bet365 is offering a “bet $10, get $365” promotion for new users, along with other generous Michigan sports betting bonuses.
Integrated iGaming platform launch
In addition to sports wagering, bet365 Casino has rolled out a fully integrated platform in Michigan.
The newest Michigan online casino features a wide selection of games, a unified wallet system, and added features such as a daily Prize Matcher, which offers players opportunities to win prizes throughout the week.
New customers can take advantage of launch promotions, including 1,000 free spins and a deposit match of up to $1,000, aimed at attracting players in one of the most competitive iGaming markets in the country. There are sure to be other Michigan online casino bonuses, too.
bet365 announces Detroit partnerships
Alongside its market entry, bet365 also announced several Michigan-based partnerships, including being named an official sports wagering partner of the Detroit Tigers. The company has also secured agreements with the Detroit Red Wings and 313 Presents.
Through its Tigers partnership, bet365 will be integrated throughout Comerica Park with in-venue signage, broadcast placements, and activations across radio and digital channels. The deal also includes fan engagement initiatives such as ticketing and merchandise programs, as well as presenting sponsorship of Detroit Sports Net’s Tigers coverage.
The partnerships reflect bet365’s strategy to embed itself within Michigan’s sports landscape and build connections with local bettors.
Launch follows earlier PlayMichigan reporting
The launch follows earlier reporting by PlayMichigan that bet365 was targeting entry into the state through a license agreement tied to PokerStars’ market access. While a timeline was not previously confirmed, the operator has now completed its move into the market.
Michigan remains one of the most established and lucrative online gambling markets in the U.S., regularly generating hundreds of millions of dollars in combined gambling revenue each month, making it a priority destination for expansion.
bet365 continues US expansion strategy
For bet365, the Michigan launch reinforces its position as a leading global operator while continuing to build brand recognition across the U.S. The company has emphasized product depth and user experience, while also rolling out its “Winning Is Everything” brand campaign in conjunction with the launch.
With its arrival in Michigan, bet365 adds another major jurisdiction to its portfolio and increases competition among operators already active in the state.
Michigan has now reached the limit of 15 iGaming operators and 13 sports platforms, which can grow to the maximum amount of 15.
