Michigan NFL bettors do not need a perfect card to win something from BetMGM’s new Ultimate Teams game. Having only one assigned team cover the spread is enough to earn a reward.
The larger prize requires a complete week of successful selections. Customers with a BetMGM Sportsbook Michigan account can collect one NFL team and its assigned point spread each weekday. Participating from Monday through Friday allows a player to gradually assemble a five-team card for that week’s games.
Anyone whose complete card goes five-for-five against the spread qualifies for a share of a $50,000 weekly jackpot awarded in bonus bets.
BetMGM launched the free-to-play football promotion on Sept. 7. Ultimate Teams will remain available throughout the NFL season before ending Jan. 18. No entry fee is required.

Building a complete card takes five weekday entries
Ultimate Teams does not give customers all five selections at once. Instead, players must return to the Promotions section of their BetMGM account during each weekday entry period to receive another NFL team and point spread.
The daily entry period closes at 11:59 p.m. ET, opening at 5 p.m. on Monday and midnight from Tuesday through Friday. Each eligible customer is limited to one play during each of the five daily windows.
Every entry adds another team to the weekly card. Participating on all five days gives the customer five NFL teams, each carrying its own spread.
Missing an entry does not remove a player from the promotion or prevent that customer from returning during the next available window. The player may still earn a reward with fewer selections.
However, anyone pursuing the $50,000 pool must participate during every weekday entry period. Jackpot eligibility requires a complete card with all five teams covering their respective spreads.
Teams are graded against the assigned spread
Whether a selection succeeds depends on the assigned team covering its point spread. The team does not necessarily have to win the game outright for the selection to count.
For example, a team listed as a 3-point underdog could lose by fewer than three points and still cover. A favorite may need to win by more than the number attached to its selection.
BetMGM provides a reward when at least one of a player’s teams covers. Available prizes include bonus bets, odds boosts, parlay boosts, and same-game parlay boosts.
That gives players with incomplete or unsuccessful cards an opportunity to earn something without going five-for-five. The weekly bonus-bet jackpot remains reserved for customers whose five assigned teams all cover.
Every participant who produces a perfect five-team card qualifies for a portion of that week’s $50,000 jackpot. The pool is shared among the eligible players rather than awarded to a single winner.
Ultimate Teams rewards come with two restrictions
Receiving a prize through Ultimate Teams starts a 96-hour redemption period. Michigan customers must use the reward within that window or it expires.
The rewards are also restricted to NFL markets available through BetMGM. A bonus bet or boost earned through the game cannot be applied to a wager involving another professional or college sport.
Those conditions cover every prize offered through Ultimate Teams. Players must find an eligible NFL wager and use their bonus bet, odds boost, parlay boost, or same-game parlay boost within four days of receiving it.
Ultimate Teams will continue offering weekday entries to Michigan customers through Jan. 18. The final entry period is scheduled to close at 11:59 p.m. ET that day.
