Seven Elite Casino Resorts properties across Iowa, Nebraska, and Illinois are participating in a 2026 effort to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Association through guest donation drives and employee volunteer events.
CEO Dan Kehl said Alzheimer’s is a cause that affects many of the company’s employees, guests, and local communities. He added,
“we’re proud to stand with the Alzheimer’s Association across all our properties. Community giving defines our culture.”
Donation Drives Tie Guest Giving to Bonus Slot Play
The company said the fundraising campaign spans
- Riverside Casino and Golf Resort
- Rhythm City Casino Resort
- Grand Falls Casino and Golf Resort
- Grand Island Casino Resort
- Walker’s Bluff Casino Resort
- Lake Mac Casino Resort and Racetrack
- Great River Casino Resort
The proceeds from each property’s drive will support the Alzheimer’s Association chapter serving that casino’s hometown.
The company said each casino will host a Giving Back donation drive. Guests will receive bonus slot play in exchange for donations to a local Alzheimer’s Association chapter. Employees also will join their community’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s through Elite’s Winning Hands volunteer program.
Employee Volunteer Program Remains Part of Elite’s Community Outreach
Elite also highlighted its Winning Hands employee volunteer program, created in 2011. The company said the program connects employees with volunteer opportunities and provides charitable contributions based on volunteer hours.
Elite employees generate more than 14,000 volunteer hours each year.
The announcement is a community-giving update rather than an operational change for players. It does not involve any Michigan casino property.
