Hard Rock Bet is preparing to become the 14th iGaming operator in Michigan.
According to Hard Rock’s website, all indications point to a Hard Rock Casino launch in the Great Lakes State sometime in the near future.
The operator declined comment to PlayMichigan on Thursday afternoon.
14th operator is on the way
Michigan currently operates 13 regulated online casinos in the state, and allows a maximum of 15. The departure of Sports Illustrated over the summer opened another spot, which allows Hard Rock to enter.
Currently, Hard Rock Bet is only live in New Jersey, but has its sights set on the Great Lakes State. The operator has an entire webpage that focuses on Michigan, and says:
“Hard Rock Bet hopes to bring its top-rated online casino app to Michigan.
“In doing so online casino players from all corners of the state, from Detroit, to Grand Rapids, to Traverse City and even the Upper Peninsula would be able to enjoy the industry’s best selection of casino titles, promotions, and rewards on Hard Rock Bet.”
Hard Rock had been linked to Michigan after acquiring US assets of 888 Holdings back in May 2024.
888 Holdings had a previous relationship with Sports Illustrated, before ending the partnership in March 2024.
Available games upon launch
Though nothing appears to be set in stone, Hard Rock Bet is promoting the games that appear for New Jersey players. Michigan players can expect to see:
- Slots
- Jackpot Slots
- Blackjack
- Baccarat
- Roulette
- Pai Gow
- Video Poker
- Craps
- Live Dealer casino games (including Game Shows)
Hard Rock highlights Buffalo, Cash Eruption, Almighty Buffalo Megaways and Cleopatra.
Hard Rock has not announced any MI online casino bonuses just yet. However, it did reference New Jersey’s welcome offer of “$25 On Us and a 100% up to $1,000 deposit match offer.”
Michigan players can expect something similar once the operator goes live.
