Michigan sports fans who use Real to follow live games will soon see FanDuel Sportsbook odds and betting markets within the app.
The information will appear across live game feeds, individual play views, player-performance screens, and team box scores. Eligible users can select a market to open the corresponding FanDuel product, including FanDuel Sportsbook Michigan.
FanDuel and Real announced the agreement on Sept. 10. Real named FanDuel its first official and exclusive sportsbook and prediction market partner.
The integration is beginning during the 2026 NFL season, with further integrations planned.

Real users had requested live odds
Real combines live scores, play-by-play updates, and player statistics with social features that allow members to follow and discuss games as they happen.
The company says it has more than 1.5 million monthly active users across 18 leagues. More than 70% return on major game days, while the app has drawn more than 250,000 users at once during close games.
Real co-founder Louis Antonelli said members already use the platform to track and discuss their bets in real time and had been requesting live odds.
He said the partnership will add another layer of real-time sports data for members interested in betting while remaining part of the existing Real experience.
Real will display markets during key game moments
FanDuel odds, markets, and related graphics will appear throughout Real’s live coverage. The app also plans to highlight relevant betting markets as important moments develop during games.
Selecting a market will take eligible users to the corresponding FanDuel product. The companies will incorporate FanDuel’s usual odds presentation into Real’s existing design, allowing the betting information to appear alongside its statistics and discussion features.
The announcement did not identify which markets will be shown for each sport or how frequently the information will be updated. It also did not provide a timetable for expanding the integration beyond the initial NFL rollout.
FanDuel sports contracts will not be available in Michigan
The agreement covers both FanDuel Sportsbook and the company’s separate prediction market platform, FanDuel Predicts.
When it announced FanDuel Predicts, FanDuel said sports contracts would be limited to states without legal online sports betting. Since Michigan already permits online sportsbooks, those contracts will not be available to users in the state through FanDuel Predicts.
FanDuel Predicts operates separately and can offer non-sports contracts tied to financial benchmarks, commodities, cryptocurrencies, and economic indicators. The contracts available through the prediction market platform can vary by location.
The Real announcement did not specify which non-sports markets, if any, will appear for Michigan users through the integration.
Betting information will remain optional
Real members will not be required to view FanDuel odds or markets. Anyone who does not want the betting information included in their live sports coverage can disable the features through the app’s settings.
FanDuel said its existing responsible gambling tools help customers set appropriate limits and manage their activity. Both companies said entertainment will remain the primary focus of the Real experience.
Although the integration is beginning with the NFL, Real covers several other sports and competitions. Its existing coverage includes the NBA, NHL, MLB, WNBA, college sports, global soccer, and tennis, while Formula 1 and horse racing are expected to be added.
FanDuel and Real committed to expanding the partnership but did not identify which sports or features will come next.
