Yggdrasil has entered the US iGaming market, giving Michigan players their first access to the supplier’s games through Caesars.

Yggdrasil operates in 28 regulated markets and has developed more than 450 games, including slots built around its GigaBlox, MultiMax and DoubleMax mechanics. However, the company’s initial US announcement specifically highlights Valley of the Gods.
How Valley Of The Gods works
The Egyptian-themed slot uses a 5-by-5 grid with 12 positions initially covered by scarab blocks, leaving 45 ways to win at the beginning of a sequence.
Each winning combination triggers a respin and removes blockers, exposing additional positions until the fully opened grid provides as many as 3,125 ways to win. Clearing every blocker also activates multipliers and extra lives, which can keep the sequence running when a respin does not produce another win.
This allows the main feature to develop through consecutive winning combinations rather than a separate free-spins round. Expanding grids and chained respins are available in other Michigan slots, but Valley of the Gods combines those mechanics with extra lives that can extend the same sequence.
Yggdrasil lists the slot with a 96.2% theoretical return-to-player rate and high volatility. Players may encounter less frequent and more uneven payouts even when the game produces several consecutive respins.
More Yggdrasil games are coming
Yggdrasil said Caesars will add more of its titles over the coming months, although neither company identified the games or provided a release schedule.
The supplier has introduced newer releases since Valley of the Gods, including a sequel in 2020, but neither company has indicated whether the next phase will focus on newer releases or established titles from its international portfolio.
The eventual size and range of that lineup will determine whether the agreement brings Caesars players a meaningful amount of new content.
Caesars already has a large selection
Yggdrasil becomes another supplier on Caesars’ Michigan platforms, but the initial rollout represents a small addition to libraries that already contain thousands of games.
Caesars Palace carries more than 3,000 Michigan titles, with the majority being online slots. Its library also includes more than 90 table games and nearly 60 live dealer options. Horseshoe also passed 2,000 games earlier this year.
Caesars Palace also added another seven titles at the beginning of July, including American ReSpin, Bomberman Blast and Bet Stacker Blackjack Live.
The exclusive agreement prevents competing Michigan operators from offering Yggdrasil content for now. However, carrying the same releases across Caesars Palace, Horseshoe and Caesars Sportsbook gives players little reason to choose between the three platforms based on Yggdrasil alone.
Later additions could bring a wider range of the supplier’s mechanics to Michigan, but the confirmed rollout does not yet materially expand Caesars’ existing selection.
