August has been a big month for BetRivers.
The operator, which runs one of the 15 Michigan online casinos, has had some exciting news in recent weeks.
Already surging up the online games count, the Rush Street Interactive product appears set to add even more new features to its inventory in the near future.
Rush Street Interactive acquires Poker Night In America
During its quarterly earnings call this past week, Rush Street Interactive indicated it intends to launch an online poker product in the future.
RSI recently acquired Poker Night In America, a television program that features cash games and sit & go play. In hopes of creating cross-promotion opportunities, Rush Street Interactive plans to develop an online poker product created by former employees of Run It Once Poker.
Rush Street Interactive operates BetRivers Online Sportsbook MI and BetRivers Online Casino MI. Michigan also has online poker already established with World Series of Poker, BetMGM and PokerStars as available options.
Michigan is also part of the Multi-State Internet Gaming Agreement, which is an interstate compact allowing players to compete against players in other states. Currently, Michigan operators are still working on updating software to meet the legal requirements to allow interstate play.
Boom Entertainment adding to BetRivers slot count
BetRivers online casino will be continuing to see an uptick in available online slot games.
This month, Boom Entertainment announced it would be providing a slew of new games into the state. Once approved for regulation by the Michigan Gaming Control Board, Boom intends to supply BetRivers with its new gaming options.
Boom has established its name through free-to-play online games and fantasy sports options around North America.
As we noted earlier this month, BetRivers Casino made a big jump in online games additions over the last four months.
BetRivers went from 396 available options in its online casino to 573. That’s a 44.7% jump in available games. BetRivers currently ranks second in overall game options of the 15 online operators in the state.
