The Michigan Lottery has been making quite a few new millionaires around the state in 2022.
This year, a total of 34 prizes of at least $1 million have been given out by the MI Lottery.
Good news for scratch ticket players is there are still plenty of seven-figure prizes sitting out there in the state.

The more expensive the ticket, the bigger the prize to potentially collect.
Michigan has nine scratch games of $30 or more. Of those games, a total of 11 $4 million prizes still exist, while two $6 million prizes are out there.

Over the years, the old days of $1 or $2 tickets being most common has started to fade.

Michigan Lottery building off big year
The Michigan Lottery continues to flourish in 2022 after putting up a big 2021.
Last fiscal year, the Michigan Lottery made a record-setting $1.419 billion contribution to the Michigan School Aid Fund. That marked the third consecutive year the lottery had contributed at least $1 billion to the fund.
Recently, the Michigan Lottery announced that former Detroit Piston John Salley would be partnering with them for The Big Spin television show.
A total of 20 lucky “losers” of The Big Spin scratch game will be randomly drawn to take a spin of the Big Wheel on local television where they can win anywhere from $100,000-2 million.
Salley will host the show.
