BetMGM is bringing one of television’s most recognizable reality franchises to online casino players through a new partnership with Jogo Global and Banijay Rights.

The iGaming operator announced Thursday it has secured exclusive rights to develop “Survivor”-branded online casino games, along with related marketing and promotional initiatives.

One game debuted on BetMGM Casino this month, timed with the show’s milestone 50th season airing on CBS in late February.

BetMGM to roll out at least 10 ‘Survivor’ titles

Through the partnership, BetMGM and gaming developer Jogo Global plan to create at least 10 “Survivor” games. The first titles include “Survivor Triple Challenge” and “Survivor – Outwit – Outplay – Outlast.”

Additional releases are expected throughout the month as BetMGM builds out the exclusive lineup.

Oliver Bartlett, BetMGM’s vice president of gaming, said the partnership reflects the company’s focus on expanding unique entertainment offerings within its platform:

“’Survivor’ is one of the most successful reality franchises in television history. Bringing exclusive ‘Survivor’ content to our players underscores BetMGM’s commitment to building a legendary powerhouse of entertainment.

“The show’s instantly recognizable brand and competitive spirit make ‘Survivor’ a pillar in our growing portfolio of exclusive content.”

BetMGM’s iGaming platform features more than 7,000 games across North America, including slots, table games, and a progressive jackpot network spanning more than 25 titles.

A new way for ‘Survivor’ fans to interact with the show

Banijay Rights, the global distributor of “Survivor,” said the partnership represents another step in expanding the franchise beyond television.

The reality competition series – originally created by Charlie Parsons, with the American version produced by Mark Burnett – has become one of the most successful TV shows in the world, spawning dozens of international versions and more than 400 seasons globally.

Mark Woollard, senior vice president of gaming and gambling at Banijay Rights, said the collaboration introduces a new way for fans to interact with the franchise.

“Jogo is a trusted global partner of Banijay Rights with multiple licenses from our catalogue, so it’s fantastic that they’ve partnered with BetMGM for the North American release of our ‘Survivor’ IP content.

“With the release of ‘Survivor’s’ 50th season this year, we are looking forward to seeing fans finally being able to engage in ‘Survivor’ casino content.”

Jogo Global helping translate franchise to gameplay

Jogo Global CEO David Marcus said adapting the long-running series to online gameplay presented a natural opportunity.

“As ‘Survivor’ enters its landmark 50th season, the combination of one of the most iconic franchises in entertainment and the powerhouse that is BetMGM is a perfect match.

“We’re proud to help bring the strategy, intensity, and competitive spirit of ‘Survivor’ into real-money gameplay in a way that feels authentic to the brand and compelling for US players.”

The “Survivor” titles will be available through BetMGM’s platform on both desktop and mobile devices.
