Jackpot Digital is expanding its footprint in Michigan after signing a new agreement to install electronic poker tables at Hollywood Casino at Greektown in Detroit.

The company announced it has secured a deal to deploy three of its Jackpot Blitz dealerless poker tables at the PENN Entertainment-operated property. The agreement marks another step in Jackpot Digital’s ongoing push into regulated US retail markets and builds on its broader relationship with PENN.

Detroit casino adds dealerless poker option

Hollywood Casino at Greektown is one of three commercial casinos in Detroit and operates under PENN Entertainment, offering a large gaming floor in the city’s downtown district.

The new tables will feature Jackpot Digital’s electronic table game (ETG) technology, which allows players to participate in multiplayer poker without a live dealer. The game features a 75″ touchscreen, intuitive interface, and sophisticated back-end software, enabling Hollywood to operate cash games and tournaments 24/7.

The system is designed to increase efficiency by enabling more hands per hour while reducing labor costs for gambling operators. For properties, that can translate to higher productivity from existing floor space while maintaining a social poker experience for players.

The execution of the agreement will take place at some point during the second quarter of 2026.

Partnership with PENN Entertainment continues to grow

According to the company, the three-table installation is part of a continued rollout of its Jackpot Blitz product across North America.

Jackpot Digital CEO Jake Kalpakian said the agreement reflects growing demand for dealerless poker solutions in regulated markets and strengthens the company’s partnership with PENN Entertainment.

The Detroit deal follows earlier agreements between the companies in other jurisdictions, including planned installations at PENN properties in Mississippi.

Electronic table games gaining traction

For Hollywood Casino at Greektown, the addition of electronic poker tables reflects broader industry trends.

Electronic table games have emerged as a way for properties to modernize operations while addressing staffing challenges and shifting player preferences. The format allows continuous gameplay without dealer constraints, while still offering a shared, multiplayer environment.

Michigan remains a key market for gaming innovation, with Detroit’s three commercial casinos continuing to generate steady revenue. As operators look to optimize their gaming floors, ETGs like Jackpot Blitz could play a larger role in the mix.
