The Michigan online casino industry continues to shine despite a slight dip in April. The Michigan Gaming Control Board reported that operators produced $303.4 million in revenue last month.
Revenue declined 5.8% month-over-month, but still managed to stay above $300 million for just the third time ever. It’s still a 22.3% year-over-year increase.
Michigan online casino revenue is still not showing any signs of slowing down, and has even welcomed another operator into the fold.
Bet365 makes Michigan debut
After a long anticipated wait, bet365 Casino launched in the middle of April as the state’s 15th and final iGaming platform. It is partnered with the Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians.
The operator generated $3.7 million last month, only operational in the second half of April.
The Michigan market has welcomed two new platforms within the last six months, with Hard Rock Bet launching in December.
Hard Rock has posted at least $20 million in revenue since going live, proving that new operators can find success right off the bat.
May will be bet365’s first full month of operation, which will be an even better indication of where the brand stacks up against other platforms.
Two operators account for nearly half of state’s revenue
FanDuel Casino and BetMGM Casino are the top two platforms in the Great Lakes State, and have been since iGaming became legal in 2021.
The two operators flexed their muscles again, contributing $75.5 million and $70.3 million in revenue, respectively. Those totals reflect 48.1% of the market share amongst the entire state.
DraftKings Casino has secured the third position, but is well in the rear, producing $38.5 million in revenue last month.
FanDuel and BetMGM have a stranglehold on the market, which likely won’t change in the months ahead.
Yearly revenue exceeds $1 billion
Through the first four months of 2026, operators have achieved nearly $1.2 billion in revenue. At this time last year, the industry was at $979.2 million.
Michigan platforms are on pace for $3.6 billion for 2026, which would easily clear the $3.1 billion total set in 2025.
