Michigan online casinos generated $302.8 million in revenue during July, extending the market’s streak of $300 million months to five.

July revenue was 20.9% higher than the $250.5 million generated in July 2025 and increased 0.5% from June’s $301.2 million. The latest result pushed lifetime revenue from Michigan online casinos to approximately $12.26 billion since the market launched in January 2021.

Through the first seven months of 2026, operators have generated $2.11 billion, up 22.3% from $1.72 billion during the same period last year.

Five-month revenue streak continues in July

Michigan began its current streak of $300 million months in March, when operators set a state record with $322.1 million.

Revenue has remained above that threshold every month since:

  • March: $322.1 million
  • April: $303.4 million
  • May: $305.8 million
  • June: $301.2 million
  • July: $302.8 million

January came close to the threshold with $298.3 million, while February generated $273.1 million. Revenue has remained above $300 million every month since, showing that the market is sustaining that level consistently.

The current run is Michigan’s first stretch of five consecutive months above $300 million.

The state’s online casino revenue has increased each year since the regulated market opened. Operators generated $3.09 billion in 2025 after reporting $2.44 billion in 2024.

The market is now on pace to comfortably surpass 2025.

FanDuel extends lead over BetMGM

FanDuel Casino remained Michigan’s leading online casino brand in July with $74.6 million in revenue, up 3.5% from June and 18.3% from a year earlier.

BetMGM Casino ranked second with $63.1 million. Its revenue declined 4.7% from June but increased 1.9% year over year.

The gap between the two brands widened to $11.4 million after shrinking to $5.8 million in June.

FanDuel has generated $528 million through July, compared with $464.5 million for BetMGM. That gives FanDuel a year-to-date lead of $63.5 million. At the same point last year, FanDuel led BetMGM by only about $1.2 million.

DraftKings Casino remained third with $43.1 million, up 3.9% from June. FanDuel, BetMGM, and DraftKings combined for $180.8 million, accounting for nearly 60% of statewide revenue.

Michigan market shows strength beyond the top three

BetRiver Casino led the next group of online casino brands with $22.4 million in July revenue, narrowly ahead of Hard Rock Be Casino at $21.7 million.

Fanatics Casino followed with $19 million, while Caesars Palace Casino generated $16.1 million. Bet365 Casino reported $8.8 million, Golden Nugget Casinot produced $8.5 million and Hollywood Casino finished with $8.2 million

Hard Rock Bet and Caesars both improved from June, while BetRivers and Fanatics recorded modest monthly declines.

The Michigan Gaming Control Board’s July report showed that adjusted gross receipts, or revenue after permitted promotional deductions, totaled $290.7 million, up 23.6% year over year.

Operators submitted $61.2 million in online casino taxes and fees to the state. Detroit’s three commercial casinos reported $13.5 million in wagering taxes and municipal service fees paid to the city, while tribal operators made $8.4 million in payments to their governing bodies.
