Michigan online casinos produced $259.1 million in September revenue. It’s the third-highest mark of all time.

September came down slightly from August’s record of $263.3 million. However, it’s an increase of 27.9% from this time last year, according to the Michigan Gaming Control Board’s report on Monday.

Michigan online casinos remain in a healthy place, despite the small dip from August. The vertical has three more opportunities in 2025 to set another record.

FanDuel builds on lead

FanDuel Casino is starting to separate itself from the former market leader, BetMGM Casino. Each operator posted the following totals in September:

  • FanDuel: $69.8 million
  • BetMGM: $65.9 million

The platforms had alternated the No. 1 spot during the first half of 2025. However, FanDuel has led the market four straight months.

FanDuel has generated $592.4 million in year-to-date revenue compared to BetMGM’s $582.8 million. FanDuel is in the driver’s seat to secure the market lead for 2025.

Fanatics reaches new milestone

Fanatics Casino set a new record high for revenue in a single month, tallying $14.1 million last month. The operator has seen its totals rise every month over the last six months.

  • April: $9 million
  • May: $10.5 million
  • June: $12.1 million
  • July: $12.3 million
  • August: $13.2 million
  • September: $14.1 million

While Fanatics set a new milestone, it is closing in on another. The operator is less than $4 million shy of producing $100 million in 2025.

It’s already ahead of platforms such as Golden Nugget and Hollywood.

Downslide continues

Caesars Palace Casino is a strong brand in the Great Lakes State. However, it’s been hovering around $14 million in revenue in three of the last four months.

The operator had not finished below $16 million during the first five months of the year. Other than in July, it has slid in recent month:

  • June: $14.5 million
  • July: $17.7 million
  • August: $14.8 million
  • September: $14.7 million

July happened to be Caesars’ best month of the year, which has been sandwiched by some of the lowest months of the year.

As 2025 comes to the close, the operator is hoping it regain its earlier form.
