Fresh off a monthly record in October, Michigan iGaming operators could not keep up the momentum in November. The Michigan Gaming Control Board reported that platforms recorded $248.4 million in revenue last month.

Despite a 9.9% year-over-year increase, Michigan online casinos reported a 10.8% month-over-month decrease in November.

Mystifying month

The fall months for Michigan sportsbooks and iGaming platforms usually shine. However, November was a down month for the casino side.

At this time last year, Michigan online casino revenue came in at $226.0 million, which was a record at the time. Prior to that, the vertical had produced more than $200 million just once.

It’s possible the rate of growth for operators is starting to slow down. December will be a better gauge of that.

DraftKings jackpot hurts operator

Right before Thanksgiving, a lucky DraftKings Casino player hit the largest progressive jackpot in US history at $22.4 million. That put a dent in the operator’s revenue total in November.

Because of that, DraftKings recorded only around $20 million in revenue, which is well below average. It’s also the first time the operator finished fourth in revenue.

BetRivers Casino generated more revenue than DraftKings for the first time ever, coming in at $22.7 million.

This is likely an anomaly, as DraftKings is surely going to regain that third spot in December. Nevertheless, it doesn’t take away the impressive month for BetRivers.

Fanatics Casino finished right behind DraftKings, posting $17.2 million in revenue last month.

FanDuel expands lead

Despite a down month for the industry, FanDuel Casino turned in another huge month. The operator recorded $71.8 million in November revenue.

The previous leader, BetMGM Casino, finished second at $63.0 million. Overall, FanDuel is leading the market in 2025, producing $740.2 million to BetMGM’s $714.7 million.

FanDuel is looking to take the crown as the market leader in 2025.
