It was just last month that Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort finally jumped into the online gaming market.
The launch of Eagle Casino & Sports became the 15th online platform for Michigan sports bettors and casino players.
Still in its infancy stage, some users are finding one big issue with the new operator: not being able to withdraw from their account.
Glitch in withdraw option
Some Eagle Casino & Sports users are finding issues being able to withdraw money from their bankroll.
When depositing to your account, Eagle Casino & Sports offers up four options:
- Visa, MasterCard or Discover Card
- Play+: A cashless option for playing casino games. Your money is held in a FDIC Insured Play+ account for you to access at your favorite slots, casino games or for online sports betting.
- ACH: Automated Clearing House, an electronic processing system. ACH works like an e-check that can ties directly to your bank account.
- PayNearMe: A platform that allows users to deposit their cash at any 7-Eleven store by providing the cashier the PayNearMe Barcode. Funds become instantly available.
However, when attempting to withdraw your money, Eagle Casino & Sports only offers Play+ and ACH as options.
The Play+ option is only available if a deposit has been made using the same format.
What some users are finding is that the ACH withdrawal process is running into a software glitch. When attempting to add their bank account, the “Enroll” button can’t be engaged after entering the information.
One particular user has been attempting to withdraw more than $1,000 from his account since April 21 to no avail. However, it does continue to allow him to deposit funds.
Soaring Eagle working on a solution
Soaring Eagle has acknowledged there is an issue, but has not provided any timetable for a resolution to the issue.
“We are aware of the issue and in midst of investigating and resolving,” said Kristina Griffus, Director of iGaming & Sports Betting Operations for Soaring Eagle.
It’s also unknown how widespread the issue has been for users.
*On a personal experience, I was able to successfully deposit and withdraw funds this week using the ACH format.
Eagle Casino & Sports launched in April
Soaring Eagle had a noteworthy April for expanding into the sports betting and online casino markets.
On April 4, it officially opened up Ascend Sportsbook on its property, becoming Michigan’s 13th retail sportsbook.
Just 10 days later, on April 14, Eagle Casino & Sports launched as Soaring Eagles online sports betting and gaming platform.
Currently, Eagle Casino & Sports is only available through a web browser. A phone app is not currently available and Soaring Eagle hasn’t provided a timetable for when it will be an option.
Eagle Casino & Sports offers up more than 350 slot games and a dozen table games, includes live-dealer options.
Its sportsbook handles all major sporting events with a variety of betting options, including live betting.
