Sports fans in the Great Lakes State now have another way to engage with bet365 beyond Michigan sports betting.

The operator announced the launch of bet365 Fantasy Sports, a free-to-play mobile gaming app available to users 18 and older across the United States, including Michigan. Developed in partnership with gamification company LOW6, the platform combines fantasy sports contests, collectible player cards and competitive leaderboards.

The launch arrives ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which bet365 views as a key opportunity to introduce the product to soccer fans across North America.

Michigan users can play without wagering real money

Unlike the bet365 Sportsbook, the fantasy sports app does not require users to place real-money bets.

Players can open daily athlete card packs, build fantasy lineups and compete against other users based on real-world player performance. Users also earn in-game coins that can be used to improve player ratings through a training feature, adding another layer of strategy to roster construction.

The app includes division-based leaderboards, referral bonuses and rewards for top-performing players. Trip Stoddard, head of business development at bet365, said in a release:

“We’re thrilled to introduce the launch of the bet365 Fantasy Sports app across North America ahead of the World Cup, a tournament deeply valued by our fanbase.”

“Fantasy creates a fresh way for users to engage with the sports they love. By combining real player data with the excitement of collectible pack openings, we’ve created an experience that feels authentic, engaging, and unique while allowing bet365 to connect with our fans during one of the biggest moments in global sports.”

World Cup expected to drive soccer engagement

bet365 is centering the launch around soccer, which it says remains the most-bet sport globally on its platform.

The operator believes the 2026 FIFA World Cup will create an opportunity to attract both existing sports wagering customers and casual sports fans interested in fantasy competition. The app combines fantasy roster management with collectible card mechanics, allowing users to continue competing throughout the tournament and beyond.

LOW6 Chief Strategy Officer Josh Turk said the product was designed to extend fan engagement outside of traditional sports wagering.

“Together, we’ve built a PvP mobile gaming experience that extends the excitement of the world’s biggest football tournament beyond matchday, creating new opportunities for fans to engage, compete, and celebrate throughout the entire 2026 FIFA World Cup.”

Another offering for bet365’s Michigan customer base

The fantasy sports launch gives bet365 another touchpoint with customers in Michigan, where the operator already offers online sports wagering and a Michigan online casino.

While the fantasy app is separate from its sports wagering platform, bet365 highlighted several promotions expected to be available during the World Cup, including its Early Payout Offer, which grades wagers as winners when a selected team takes a two-goal lead.

The company also plans to continue offering its “bet $10, get $365 in bonus bets” welcome Michigan sports betting bonus and its “Sub On Play On” feature, which transfers player prop wagers to a substitute if the original player leaves a match.

For Michigan sports fans, the fantasy platform offers a free-to-play alternative that allows users to stay engaged with major sporting events without placing a wager.
