BetMGM is giving soccer bettors in Michigan a new way to root for the U.S. men’s national team during the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The operator announced Thursday that eligible customers can receive a share of $500,000 in Michigan sports betting bonuses for every U.S. goal scored during the tournament through its new Goal Rush Grand Prize promotion.

The offer headlines a broader slate of World Cup-themed betting, iGaming and free-to-play promotions from BetMGM this summer.

Goal Rush awards bonus bets for Team USA goals

Under the promotion, customers who place a qualifying pre-match wager of at least $5 on a U.S. men’s national team match on BetMGM Sportsbook Michigan will receive a share of $500,000 in bonus bets for each goal Team USA scores during the World Cup.

Bonus bets are non-withdrawable and expire after seven days. The promotion is available to eligible customers in participating jurisdictions, including Michigan.

Matt Prevost, BetMGM chief revenue officer, said in a statement:

“BetMGM is built around delivering legendary moments, and there is no bigger stage in soccer than the World’s Game.

“We’re giving our players the opportunity to connect directly to the action with every goal scored by Team USA.”

Tim Howard featured across sportsbook and casino offerings

Former U.S. goalkeeper Tim Howard, a BetMGM brand ambassador, is featured prominently in the operator’s World Cup campaign.

Beginning June 11, players can access Tim Howard’s Penalty Kick Shootout, a free-to-play game available daily in the BetMGM sports wagering app. Players who score against the virtual Howard can win rewards including bonus bets and various wagering boost tokens. No wager is required to participate.

BetMGM also unveiled two Michigan online casino games inspired by Howard: Tim Howard Goalie Gold X Up and Tim Howard’s Goal Line – Fortune Pick.

The games are available in states where iGaming is legal, which includes BetMGM Casino Michigan.

Additional World Cup promotions available

The operator is also bringing back its popular 2-Up Early Payout soccer promotion in eligible states. Under the offer, bettors who place a pregame moneyline wager are paid out as winners if their selected team takes a two-goal lead at any point in the match, regardless of the final result.

The promotion is not available in Pennsylvania but is offered in Michigan.

BetMGM also announced a Marriott Bonvoy partnership sweepstakes that gives qualifying customers a chance to win a trip to New York City for Sports Illustrated’s Beyond the Pitch Party. Eligible players can earn entries by linking their Marriott Bonvoy and BetMGM accounts and placing qualifying wagers through June 21.

In addition to the promotions, BetMGM said bettors will have access to more than 300 wagering markets on every World Cup match, along with watch parties and fan events at retail locations across the country.
